I have been watching an online auction that has the perfect-for-me Heloise but the price seems a little too high. Before I tell you the price ......what would you pay if you really liked it?
Is half of full retail too much for just the right bag? BTW it is the largebag, not the east-west or small satchel. Ooops my mistake--it is actually 70-75% full retail. ugh?! |

^^ Price is subjective - and it really has to be what you are comfortable with. If you set yourself a budget - then its always best not to go over it. You want to get the bag you want - but you don't want to pay 'over the odds' and you don't want to end up thinking 'I paid to much for you'. That way you tend not to feel the same about the bag.
I think its difficult - as we all have different thoughts re price. Personally - if the bag is something I really want - and I can't find it anywhere else - then I'd probably be prepared to pay the asking price. However, at present - even with the Heloise - it is a buyers market - sales at auction are slow - many items aren't selling - so you should take that into account. |

I agree with Lescoy - she has some great advice there!
Another thing you might want to think about is searching for the completed auctions on ebay - should let you see what similar heloises have sold for in the past to get an idea on what people consider to be a "fair" price. In the end, comes down to what your budget is really! |
