It was definitely her, because she replied to people with the same christian name.

I'm afraid she knows exactly what she is doing.
She has told me that she can't afford another negative now, since the confusion. So that's comforting.

but not so comforting that she doesn't have an ioffer account:

let me assure you this bag is real :-) I do NOT mix fakes with authentics. I don't even have an active ioffer account. I have NEVER sold a fake Spy Bag, to a PFer either none the less. Please don't believe these rumors and hearsay. People who are very jealous of this business just can't seem to say anything nice!

if I had even known that she had sold a fake to someone I wouldn't have even considered bidding but it's too late as i've aldready bid.
anyways - she is offering to pay the my poupette fee - so that's comforting as well.

Here you go, erdeva:

Anyone here ever bought a bbag from this ebay seller?

There's a few people talking about their experiences hgbags. There's a lot of strong language in there. A few have had good experience too. So don't get discouraged yet. Did you pay with a CC?

The stuff about hg wasn't why I said the thread was interesting. I said it was interesting coz there's references in there to another pfer being deceitful...wasn't at all expecting it!

At least she's willing to pay for authentication! Take her up on it! I think you should post pics here so we all can help too! MyPoupette have been wrong in the past. They are good with LV, but not that great with other designers...

Oh, this is OT, but don't forget about taxes! At that price, you will probably have to pay customs and GST.

she said that she will mark the price on it as lower than what it is so that i don't have to pay taxes

That in itself is an illegal action, and one which should ring a BIG siren!!!!!

IF it gets lost, what proof have you then got to retrieve your money?? If you pay £500 for a bag which is declared under **£36 and a gift, you cannot expect to get £500 back if it goes astray!!!! **anything over that is taxable!

Sorry, but even more sirens are going off by this latest offer to you!!

^ It's ok SollyTia. Erdeva is from Aussieland too, and here we have a tax free threshold of AUD$1000 / 400GBP / USD$750 so she should be ok for most of it. As long as hg doesn't lower it too much. But as far I know, insurance is for seller's protection not buyers...

Hi LB

I am pleased it isn't into the UK, I hope that it all turns out OK.

Having had a great deal of information recently over the duty issue, I have to say I personally am very uncomfortable about actions of sellers!!!! particularly when there is already a ?? on the individuals integrity.

I sincerely would hate anyone to land in trouble, due to the actions of an EBay seller, in the same way I hate to see people conned by a fake bag!

I will watch with interest.

Well she said she will mark it as $45.

Is this a problem?? Should I tell her to mark it as $200 or something a bit higher?

Hi Erdeva

Your limits in Aus are higher than here in the UK.

LB ^^ put me right.

It is entirely up to you two to agree whatever. My worry was if it would be covered value wise, if, it was lost in transit, and the obvious concerns about proving value.

I would be extremely suspicious!! But, that is me!! I also would be worried about the seller also losing out, but, again, that is me.

An item sent to me was lost, and no certificate of posting. I won the claim via paypal, and I worried about the seller losing out, although people told me they didnt think it had been posted!!!! It certainly didnt arrive.

I would get the seller to post the item insured/trackable/express (Costs about 50usd). Get her to mark the value at about $700 USD. That way it is declared (for insurance claims, if need be) and you wont be charged by customs.

I have bought three Chloe bags from Erica (hgbags) and four Chloe wallets. They were all perfect and totally authentic. I have A LOT of Chloe items, so it's not as if I cannot compare her handbags to those from Neimans, Nordstroms, or roz77772002 (totally fabulous!) I think she is a reliable and legitimate seller, since my experience with her has been great. I cannot speak for anyone else, but I would buy from her without a moments hesitation.

Thanks for that post beanie, I was starting to stress out a bit. Hopefully my item will be in my hot little hands today or tomorrow and I can check it out.
