Hi, I have purchased from andiflower before and have had very good experiences, she is a consignment seller of authentic goods. She typically posts LOTS of pictures and will answer add'l questions thru email very quickly.

Does anyone know of the authenticity of goods sold by the seller "thebideasy" on ebay? They seem to have quite a few paddingtons....all of which seem authentic (to my amteur eyes anyway!)

Have never personally dealt with them, but from what I've heard they are not trustworthy! They've been accused of selling fakes. There's an old thread about this seller (do a search) somewhere. They have a very dodgy view about authenticity! Personally, I would never buy from them.

can anyone tell me more about hgbags I was so excited to buy a muscade paddy off her for $950 US. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=160101165624
but now I'm upset because despite the good reviews there have been some bad reviews and warnings against her. Its too late as I have paid, but i just have to know. There is nothing i can do now

I'm just about ready to cry. Someone please reassure me!!

Against the judgement off this forum, I decided to take the risk and purchase a Galet paddy off her. She has been very friendly and honest so far, and I should receive by item by monday so will let you know the authenticity then. I wouldn't stress.

^ To be fair, it's not really a judgment that we have made about her - there is really no question that she has shipped fakes, as she has feedbacks for selling fakes and members of this forum have received fakes from her (one recently).

I, personally, would never buy from a seller who is known to have shipped fakes to people, because, even if one is lucky and receives one of her authentic bags, I think it could be considered somewhat amoral to knowingly buy from a seller who scams people.

JMHO.

However, for erdeva and emily's sake, I hope we are wrong and that hgbags is now only selling authentics. Hopefully, they will indeed get the authentic bags they ordered but just in case hope you both paid by Credit Card so that you are protected. hgbags did apologised for the last mishap, let's give her the benefit of the doubt and hopefully she'll come through...

Yeah I paid through paypal via credit card. And yes, I have given her the benefit of the doubt, and yes it may come back and bite me on the bum but I guess I loved the bag so much that I'm willing to risk that. The Purse Forum is such a unique resource, and without it many people would have no idea about fakes and how good they can be. Maybe I am naive but I do believe that the sellers can be as easily fooled as us buyers when they are buying their stock. Yes it is her fault for not doing her research properly but she has had an almost flawless record recently (except for that recent possible slip up).
I do really appreciate your feedback on the issue chloehandbags, as it has made me enter this transaction with complete caution, so don't think I just dismissed it entirely

It was definitely her, because she replied to people with the same christian name.

I'm afraid she knows exactly what she is doing.

Anyone here ever bought a bbag from this ebay seller?

If you decide to go through with it Erdeva, take precautions (credit card + paypal) and tell her that is you dont get what the picture shows, you will take action. Good luck

WHOA! I'm slowly making my way through that (^) thread, and it's scary as!!! It makes interesting reading though! Lets hope leopards do change their spots!

I do not understand how people expect to build a respectable business doing this!
