Sorry you have had a bad experience what a nightmare! Really feel it for you. Unfortunately there are more and more what I would class unsavoury charachters on eBay now which do ruin it for the good ones. Now I am just basically narrowed down to a couple that I only ever use now (had a pretty horrendous experience recently as well). If you do find something post it on here and get it authenticated and then you stand a better chance of the real deal.

Will of course keep my eyes posted for that dream item for ya!

Many thanks for your message...I am waiting for the refund now and will start my paddington hunting again with more caution this time. Will keep you guys posted whether I will find my dream bag!! :)

There have been several recently selling bag and crystal padlock separately.

This item in particular has been relisted several times, not too sure if and when the seller may drop reserve, but keep an eye on it, you never know.

Of course, I forgot about that last year Chloe sold the crystal padlock separately. So you could actually find a silver paddington & buy the lock also, Would probably work out really expensive though.
i just looked at that auction the leather on that is for the very dark metallic colour - anthracite & will not match the silver bag so if you buy remember that you will need to buy an anthracite paddi.

After I posted about the padlock before, I went back, and was really surprised that the bag which was bought with the padlock (according to the receipt) is also now for sale.

I am either losing the plot totally, or it has been relisted!!! The padlock has been in my watching for weeks, watching it not meet reserve and then get relisted. There is now a warning on the top of the listing about someone using the sellers pix. I have definitely not seen that note before, but, I remember there being a note on the padlock saying the bag was sold. I remember it so well, because I thought UGHHHHH ~ Will someone really want a bag with no padlock! I assumed there was no padlock on the original bag. But, now, looks like it was bought as an additional padlock.

I will pay attention in future. I tend to spend so much time, looking for the "glaring" ???'s and not the wording. LOL

I was actually watching the padlock out of sheer curiousity. It has been listed so many times.

However, it has sold, I just clicked on the link and it ended withBIN.

After my two recent Luella purchases, I am interested in an East/West Bowler bag, and I am really going to have to behave now.

We pick up a new car in a few days, I was in the process of thinking about purchasing from the link someone had posted about Chloe and Balenciaga in Bahrain, when I had to leave to go the garage. I intended following up with the Bahrain shop on my return.

When we were leaving and the Salesman said, Have a lovely afternoon, its such a nice day, are you going anywhere (you know small talk), hahaha I flippantly said, I am off to do a deal now with a handbag store in Bahrain, and laughed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Salesman looked rather bemused, but the reply from my OH was what left me bemused!!!!!! He said, and she will spend more than she has done here!!!!!!!

Awwwwww, wasn't he naughty!! LOLOL. Not half as naughty as when I saw that second Luella!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am being led astray by this Forum, I don't suppose you have a special thread do you for the addicted!!!!!!!!

Having seen all the photographs of the fabulous collection of one of my fellow countryladies (Chloehandbags), I need to stay away from looking at the gorgeous clutch bags and jewellery!!!!!! I admire your avatar, but you are spoiled for choice, with that magnificent collection.

Hi, just got my refund yesterday from the fake Chloe...

Eventhough I lost about £30 in postage both ways..anyway.. I've found that bag up for sale again on eBay and just think I should have reported it to Ebay to help others and now the seller taken away the Guarantee Authenticity and she doesn't accept return any more!! Will keep you guys posted. :)

I believe that you shouldn't have had to pay for postage at all (maybe just to send it back to her) coz the seller was deceptive! Post the listing in the beware of fakes thread so we know to avoid the seller!

Tedstar2001 she is my all time favourite seller. Great prices (so you do get a great deal and don't pay over the odds) plus her bags are immaculate not a single mark on them and to top it off she is soooo lovely.. REally just now the only person I buy off on eBay.
