They had a LOT of cool bags, girls! My daughter was the one to start the drooling as she was very enamored of that bucket bag with the tassel dangle that comes in bands of varying colors. She said that girls her age (college) like these funky unusual bags and this one really spoke to her. Then they also had this incredible kind of a hobo/bucket bag that was really large in a very vivid dark blue snakeskin that made me want to pass out!!! It was over $3000. Of course they stocked the metallic Paddy that has a contrasting stripe down the middle and those totes-within-a-tote looks in contrasting colors. All in all I was happy to see that Chloe had a presence in a Neiman Marcus since it looks like my local store is going to be discontinuing the line - MAJOR SOB!!!!

I'm so jealous you got to see all the new bags up close! I think I'll see them in the UK before I see them in the boutiques here in Oz

Such a shame if your local store does stop stocking Chloe - would you have to drive far to find another stockist, or is it so far away driving is out of the question?

Trying to make it 3 months without buying a bag, and finding it rather difficult!

Qwerty - the drive to Chicago is about five hours. Certainly I love going there every chance I get but there is something great about local bags going on sale. I do hope you find perfect deals on your trip to the Continent!

Woah, 5 hours is a long drive! I think you should start petitioning your local store to make sure they continue to stock Chloes

I have grand plans to buy something at the Chloe boutique in London when I'm over, but that's a few months away, so depends on how well I stick to my ban until then! I hope I have enough saved so I can just buy whatever I fall in love with on the day, I can't wait to see all the stock they would have!

I feel your pain Div, it's around four hours for me to get to the nearest store selling Chloe. That's just too much time to spend for me to go window shopping. With gas prices and road rage drivers and construction everywhere, it's just not worth it for me.

gas price on the way go lower....is it a good new hon??? But even gas go lower as $2 as a gallon, I still don't want to spend 4 hour just sit on the car. I can feel your pain too. But from MA to NY just only 3hour and half...but I rarely go there...even I heard the Woodbury Outlet is great!. You know what, for the bus at China Town, only $1.00 for a ticket from Boston to NY (some trip with the crazy hour) or $25/ticket for regular , but I still don't want to spend 4 hour then window shopping. BTW, the sale tax at NYC is killing me, why we don't stay at home then call arround and the tax will cheaper or even NO SALE TAX !

That's the way to do it, girls - NO SALES TAX! It helps when there is no retail outlet in your state. Unfortunately Neimans, Saks and Nordstroms don't qualify for me but the flip side is that none of them carry Chloe. I was at Neimans today and they used to have a whole display. They are down to a few bags. One sale item (I said I would advertise it) is a black regular Bay - not the quilted - in the $700 range. It is a great buy for a bag that many wanted last year. Sigh.
