Chloe Private Sale!! 50% off

It does feel confusing when looking at the Chloe website and they call the Heloise plum there

I wish it was a sale here as well. The thought of getting the prune Heloise at 50% off is very tempting. Also would like Saskia at 50% off and I could tell myself I got two for the price of one and feel good about myself

these are the pics I got from las vegas....there is no purple tone in them at all, thats why I am sooo confused:

The Heli is not really purple, but it is a gorgeous rich colour that is a mixture of different hues. My plum bag is more more purple...but even that is not really purple.

As someone in another thread pointed out...prune means plum in French, but when speaking of the fruit obviously, not the colour. Chloe just named two bags prune and plum in one season to mess with our heads!!

I have to stop reading this thread - I'm so trying to stick to 1 bag per season but would love the smaller Heloise in plum or prune. Ana is going to email me a photo. Here I go again!

Here is the small Heloise. I can't tell if it's the lighting or if it has scuffs on it. Is scratching common on the Heloise?

It must be the lighting, because those bags do not look purple, they look more like a cinnamon (which we know isn't a current color), so I would say they are prune From what I can tell, based on the info on the forum and pics I have seen, the color appears to be different with each bag.

Are they going to be 50% off??

I'm still not sure about my large, it is a beauty, but I'm having a hard time fitting the color into my wardrobe --it seems to only work with basic neutrals i.e. black/white/etc., otherwise it seems too busy.

Mona, there is also a Heli with a shoulder strap that is an interesting size, I don't think the SA mentioned Prune/Plum in this style, but worth a call if you like the style ....... here is a photo from NAP.

Was going to take prune Heli on her virgin ride today when the whole family, dh and I, mom and Dad and db, are all going out to lunch. Db had picked up my mom and dad(the fashionista carpooling one) and met dh and I in our house ready to go. I had a white shirt with light beige color pants with my Heli ready to go. My mom gasped: "you are not going out with that huge, monstrous purple bag are you??" I asked her what's wrong? My dh's response was that, well, that color made your butt and thighs looked huge. My dad, being an engineer, further elaborated, "you see, that bag is trapezoidal in shape, and it is a bright color, if your eyes follow its shape visually, it made your butt and thighs looked really huge

....". I ran back upstairs, stood infront of the mirror, and....they were right

. Under bright sunlight with light clothing, it just does not looked right for me

.

So she is going back next week at SCP bloomies...I will now try to hunt down the purple saskia, my next purple item on my wish list....

Guess it is not meant to be, am so sad

Guys, just want to ask if this sale is going on now and which chloe boutiques? Anybody know if paddy wallets are included in the 50%0ff? I have a store credit (I got for the price discrepancy with NM) but they haven't sent it to me, I think they have a record. Do you guys think I can just mention it to them and they'll give the discount?

I think it's the lighting, but I wish they made one in that color, dark red is the best!

Don't feel bad, it sounds like it's a design flaw in the bag! And your Dad had no business calling Heli "monstrous"
