Mona, this is weird...my bag is shown on the second pic (on the chair). IRL the colour is much truer to the one on the first pic. The swing ticket on my bag did say 'Prune' though but my bag is nowhere near as violety-pink as it looks on my photo. Do Chloe definitely make two different colours in this colour range (I've never seen one IRL with 'Plum' on the swing ticket) or is that we all have the same coloured bag but the lighting on the photos make them appear different ? |

I think there is a lot of confusion over the colour as well. I think the colour starting with P and both being fruits might be why!!
My take, having seen the bag irl at at least five separate shops and owning one for a day, is that they are the same colour. My plum Saskia is not the same colour as the Heli's I have seen. I think the Heli's are a more bergundy colour. It could be because the leathers are very different and texture makes a huge difference in how the colour comes across. Lighting in the photos can also make something appear more purple. The Heli is not really purple at all irl. Okay, does anyone know if the London Chloe boutique will be having a sale and when? I want the white Saskia tote and would hate to find it on sale a few weeks after I buy it!! I loathe calling the London store to find out because it is the equivalent of admitting you eat food straight from the garbage bins! Okay, that might only be how it FEELS as they can be a tad uptight and rude! ![]() Just if anyone knows. Last edited by kerilynn3; May 4th, 2008 at 02:30 PM. Reason: spelling |

Hey Keri, we're of a like mind about the colour thing ( yet more things in common...are you sure we're not actually the same person ? Well, I've never seen us together ) and I couldn't agree more about the SA's in the London store . I only buy my Chloes from concessions in department stores these days because the SAs I've encountered are so snotty ( apologies to any SAs in the London store that aren't like that - I'm just speaking from bitter experience). The couple of times I've been into the Sloane Street store, the 'bouncers' at the door have looked at me as if I'd just crawled out from under a stone and the welcome I got once inside the store wasn't much warmer . |

At least according to Chloe NY, there is no Plum Heloise. The hangtags all say Prune. The difference in the color in pics my guess is because of lighting and use/non-use of flash.
The prune is a pinkish-purple color.

Ok thats weird, so I guess the SA I spoke had no clue....
now what do I do, I wanted a really purpleish one but all the pictures they have sent me from the boutiques show a much lighter colour.

I believe the Prune and Plum Heli's are the same (just confusion on the name)--based on the color of my Heli and the colors of the Bay's I've seen IRL, the Bay's are a much deeper shade of purple, and the Heli is definitely a different color, seems to have a bit more variation of the shade of prune (maybe pinker undertones??) Depending on the light, the color of my bag can look different. The way the leather is distressed causes the variation of color.
