Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get my hands on a Blue Python Paraty. I have seen one in Navy and would love it, but can't find it anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

also Nordstrom Portland has confirmed the Navy Python Paraty (laura.yuen@Nordstrom.com)
and Fashionphile.com will be offering an Ink Python Paraty soon (I sold them mine!)

Juldoc, I have a question I hope you don't mind my asking, but why did you sell your Python Paraty? Were you unhappy with it? It's a lot of money and I don't want to make a purchasing mistake if people are having problems with their's.

Hi all...
My Ink Python Paraty was a Holy Grail for my 40th birthday. I wanted it SO bad and when I got it loved it SO much. It is really a TDF bag. The python is amazing and soft. Two things became apparent to me with time though:
1st, I was afraid to carry it. It was $3820 and I was afraid it would get wet or fall of the seat in the car or smudge against a dirty wall or ANYTHING. So I WAY overbabied it and only carried it ONCE. And I knew I couldn't change that, no matter how hard my Type A personality tried.
2nd, the Ink was just a little... hmmm... odd of a shade. Sometimes too purpley. Had it been black python, I may have done better, but mixing in the fear of carrying it in any real life situation and damaging it with the thought there were a lot of things it didn't go with, and bye-bye Paraty. Even though I sold it to a consignment store for about 1/2, I would much rather buy a black leather boxy Paraty shopper (which I did already!) that I would actually use and call it a day. It's the right bag for someone, and as much as I wanted me to be that someone, it was just not for me. Live and learn and no regrets!

@Nordys girl: I adore the ink python paraty, but like juldoc said a black one is easier to handle and more classic!
