No such luck! I've e-mailed BlueFly twice, no reply! Then I called, the customer service rep was not helpful at all. She says she'll document the missing items, but won't be able to give me a Discount, but I could return the bag. I told her I wanted to keep the bag because that was the last one on Bluefly.

Anyway, I've taken some pictures and uploaded them up at ATC. Any inklings that it's a Fake, this baby goes straight back to BlueFly!

Yes'm.. saw that. And I think one of the main concerns is that it is being sold as "new" but has no tags, cards, dustbag.... which IS odd and would leave questions in my mind, also.
Also... as an FYI, you might want to upload all photos in photobucket and then post the IMG LINK to the album on ATC. The pix in photobucket can be seen larger, AND you can add to it easily rather than having to repost all the photos as thumbnails. Use the bulk uploader to upload a bunch of pix at once. Photobucket.com - free. Made my life alot simpler when trying to post 30 detailed pix of a bag!

Thanks for the headsup about Photobucket! I don't know, I have half a mind to return this bag. I don't mind the lack of documentation as much, but now there seems to be issues of authenticity. That about does it for me!

I'm seriously considering returning this bag. There are some authenticity issues with it after I loaded some pictures up at ATC. It requires more pictures to authenticate. At this point, I'm kind of "disheartened" by the whole thing. Customer Service was no help, I might just return it...

Final Outcome

- Returned Bag to BlueFly (bag has No Card or any paperwork, plus there are some issues with Authenticity)
- Bought Same Bag at Neiman's with 30% Discount
- Paid $150 more than at BlueFly, which is fine with me


Because the Black Mini Paddy I bought at BlueFly Bag did not come with any Documents (No Control Card, Tags, Care Book or Dust Bag) and there were some issues with Authenticity when I tried to have it authenticated at ATC; the bag has been sitting in my closet for the past 2 1/2 months. I just am not happy with it and haven't used it, especially when there are some lingering doubts about its authenticity.

Anyway, Neiman's had a First Call Sale with 30% Off. I bought the same Black Mini Paddy there because it has everything - Control Card, tags...etc. I wanted to have peace of mind and it only costs $150 more than BlueFly after the Discount. I returned the bag to Bluefly. They have a 90-Day Return & the Security Tag is still intact, as I haven't used the bag.

Thanks so much for all your help, guys! I'm really happy I finally got my Black Mini Paddy. It's beautiful and I love it!!!

Glad things turned out well for you.
I think you probably did the right thing, as now your have a brand new paddy that you are truely happy with.
It still shocks me that BlueFly can sell bags without dust bag/tags and expect people to be o.k about it, but it is good they have a 90 day policy.
post some pics when you can, I'm sure everyone will want to see your new addition.

BlueFly must get bags like other discount retailers. I sometimes buy from NMLC and Saks Off 5th, and they don't always have the dustbag or tags, some do, some don't, but they are authentic. I think they get end of season, customer returns, etc., and somewhere in all the transferring of bags these items get lost/misplaced. In the past I've bought a couple of bags from BlueFly, one Chloe, one Gucci, no problems. But, as we all know, fakes can pop up anywhere, so it's best to be sure before dishing out lots of dollars. Glad everything worked out for you. Peace of mind is worth a lot.

Thanks so much, aimtree & llson! Finally, after 3 long months, I'm very happy with the bag I got at Neiman's!

As to the BlueFly Bag, it wasn't just the lack of documentation that threw me. I took some pictures of the Bluefly Bag and loaded them up at ATC (Authenticate This Chloe). A couple of experts had some questions about its authenticity. Coupled with the lack of documentation, I just didn't want to risk it. Anyway, all's well that ends well! Thank you guys for all your help!

Whilst I appreciate that many girls do and have bought from BlueFly - I think we do need to take each and every bag as an individual. The fact that this bag had no tags may merely have been due to it having been sold and returned (minus tags), however, as there were also concerns (for me at least) on the bag itself - I think its best that you returned. If there is a 'niggle' in the back of your mind - then its there - and I think it was good that you took time to think about it.

I think if you buy personally from say Last Call, or Rack or Saks Off Fifth and you find the bag doesn't have tags or dustbag - then its almost certainly down to those having gone 'walkabout' in store. To buy from BlueFly - an item advertised as New etc., then it should come with all the elements.

For the extra $150 - IMO its more than worth it for that peace of mind.

Thanks so much for the pointers and continual support, Lescoy, I really appreciate it! I knew I was in trouble when this bag has been sitting in my closet for 2 1/2 months and I haven't once used it. That means I have doubts in my mind. Yes, for $150 more, I have peace of mind and it's definitely worth it! The bag was purchased at a regular Neiman Store, not at Last Call, and it's in better condition than the one at BlueFly. So I feel pretty lucky about the whole thing, especially when I got it at a Discount, and it was the last one at the store. 3 months is a long time to finally get the right bag, but I love this little babe! Thanks again for all your help!

You definitely did the right thing, if there's any question about authenticity, then definitely don't keep it. I'm very careful with every bag I purchase, one never knows when there's been a switch. I've returned a bag to NAP before, the leather and the bag just looked off and I knew if I kept it I would also have that little 'thing' about it. Congrats on your new bag and your decision.
