Louise1 - Hi there I've just had a look at the album and this is fake - the padlock has Phillips type screws in the base - and thats awful!

Not sure when you bought this - but if you can post a link to the listing - would be good just to check the seller - and also - if its pretty recently - i.e., within the past week - I can report it - and EBay will remove the listing even though it is ended - and that will help in terms of refund etc.

Any opinions on this Chloe silverado would be very welcome, it carries the riri stamps on the rear of the zips and the quality of the leather is lovely. Not sure of the exact colour, though would like to know. Also is the polished magnetic stud on the front a regular detail? Advice please! Thanks

ln0909 - Hi - I've just checked the album. This looks weird - the serial/date tag - its not clear but the font looks wrong. I'd want better photos of this - straight on shot of the plate. Underside of padlock, side buckles, Inner heatstamp, serial tag again. Right now I'm not convinced on this one at all.

ginnyj - Hi there - is this an EBay listing - if so - can you please post the link?

Right now I want to see the bag as a whole - as we are only seeing parts of it. Also the underside of the stud fasteners, photo of the side pockets from inside - showing the whipstitching. Also the inner zipper pull - want to see that straight on to see the engraving. A better clearer shot of the inner 'Chloe' heatstamp - the photo is a little dark - and would be nice to see this one in natural light - just to make sure on the true colour.

nickydutch - Hi - the paddy - was this from EBay?

The Ascot - the seller has that horrible paddy - which I've reported - and that should be removed soon.

great!!!! yes paddy was from ebay but can not find the seller anymore. am still trying and will let you know if i find it (buy LOADS on ebay and the list of names is endless).

Atleast the Ascot 'problem' is solved, i can rest now....

nickydutch - if you left feedback for the seller of the paddy - then you can find it in your 'My EBay' page. So the seller should be available to you.

Thanks for that - I am really kicking myself, my instinct told me it was fake but I still paid £450 for it - I believed the Harvey Nichols line and the fact that she would never own/sell a fake etc etc. Oh well, will take it up with paypal and look at this as a lesson learnt the hard way!!!!! Louise1 - You need to open a dispute/claim with EBay/PayPal. Have you contacted the seller to tell her the bag is fake? If not - I'd contact her and tell her and say that as its fake - you want a refund. Tell her that selling fakes is against the Law - and as such she can be prosecuted. Sometimes a seller will be decent and accept the bag back and refund. However, many don't - and you will have to go through the dispute/claims process. However, you may need written notification that the bag is fake - and you will need to contact someone like CarolDiva for that - it does cost a very small fee - but she is approved by EBay/PayPal.

ginnyj - Hi there - its from 2005 - normally they'd have a nylon inner zip - but the later ones - we've now seen a couple with the metal zipper. This appears ok from what I can see. The colour - now - its difficult - as I'm not seeing it in person - and it may not be showing true on my monitor - it looks more orangey in tone - too orange to be tan - can you tell me- if you looked at it - what would your first thought be on the colour? I'm considering if its Cognac - but again - I'm not convinced. Have you just bought this?
