Dancedancedance - Further photos required. Straight on photo of the plate, photos of side buckles to check engraving. The serial/date tag inside the bag. Also any dustbag, care cards and hangtag, showing barcoding/colour information - right now - I'm not seeing enough of this one. Hopefully the seller will oblige.

Hi eveyone...I think I did it. Bought a fake chloe on ebay :_(. I happen to have a thing for Bay bags, but as yet did not have one in black leather (I do have the black goatskin w/patent trim, but wanted something less formal!) I am 99.999% positive that this is a fake, but the lister was adamant that she "would never buy or sell a fake bag." I just want to confirm that this looks wrong to the experts as well. My concerns are: the dustbag is too yellow (I have some dustbags that came from real, albeit discount, sources like Yoox, and I know there are two types, but this type is wrong- wondering if they yellow with age and I am unaware?) The pulls are not "thick" enough- they do not have the heft of my other Bays (or my boots for that matter.) I did not think both stickers for fabric content and bag designation were on the inside of the chloe round hang tag. The aspect ratio of the typeface of the word "Chloe" looks too wide and round on the pull tabs, the interior pockert looks like the edges have been painted/sealed poorly (causing paint to be on the leather) the zippers do not come together properly, and the brass plate does not have quite the same quality of imprintation as my other bags (it is less-defined)....anyway, can someone else confirm my fears before I address the seller? Im sorry but this is fake :( There are several things wrong with it including the very 'interesting' tags. I'm so sorry to tell you. Can you file a dispute with Paypal or your credit card? I would ask that the seller accepts a return and say that its illegal to sell fake bags. She may or may not know it's fake. Do wait for other opinions but let us know how you get on- we'll help however we can.

Happy Birthday!! This seller seems to be ligit, as her other items are indeed authentic... When you send in pics, make sure you get close ups of the hardware (zips) and heat stamps in the bag and on the coin pouch... Now go have yourself some more champie!! That's all I drink

many thanks - and to hardcore_harlot - this original listing ended last week before i had chance to get it authenticated - i noticed after a week the seller had not received feedback for it so i asked her if everything had gone ok?!!!! The seller was going to re-list it this evening - I asked her to add a buy-it-now (originally sold for quite a bit less but apparently the buyer was in australia and didn't want to pay high postage fees) and so she's mine .... all mine!!! and I am so so happy .......but now I need to go and lie down!!!! mere girl xx

Paypal is actually excellent in siding with the buyer in these types of disputes, so I am not too concerned.
