RascalCat - No - the actual 'Chloe' heatstamp - i.e., 'Chloe' then 'Made in Italy' underneath.

It could be ok - but would prefer to see more of it to be definitive. The Tekla - made of lamb leather - and it is quite thin leather from all accounts. I know some girls had a problem with the leather ripping or scratching easily. Also - the handles - they have come 'astray' and I do recall one of our members who actually repaired hers and re-inforced them. I imagine it will be in the Thread -

All about Tekla!!!
Aha, Tekla, that's it! Thanks for the info.. I'm generally a shoulder strap carrier, especially if it were heavy, I'll have to do some research methinks.

Paulie2906 - Hi there - just checked the listing. Looks ok from the photos provided. Would like to see the 'Chloe' heatstamp on the coin purse and on the handle - and a close up of the zipper pull just to check the engraving. Also the reverse of the circular hangtag showing barcoding/colour information - just to tie up with the serial/date tag. Always good to check these areas. Its not 'screaming' fake - and obviously is gaining interest - as there have been a number of offers. PayPal Protection is only $200 - so it doesn't cover the price - so IMO its important to make sure before makiing a purchase.

Rascal, I have been dealing with this seller regarding her other items and she seems very nice and genuine. I'm sure she would relist her items at a BIN as lescoy is suggesting (btw, I'm after her Mulberry items not her Chloe ones). I would certainly suggest using ebay in the way that Lescoy has suggested.

However, Lescoy, would ebay not remove the item anyway even if it has been completed (Like they have done to other previous completed items) telling the buyers to contact the sellers for a refund?

tireebabe - Yes, EBay could remove a completed listing - however, if the buyer is happy to pay and happy the bag is authentic - then they do not need to contact the seller for a refund. EBay only advise that you do this, don't demand it. Its for a buyers protection - but given the fact that authentic bags are being removed, and that any potential buyer has the right and ability to 'do their homework' - if everything appears legitimate - i.e., the bag is authentic - and you have PayPal Protection - then its really up to the individual whether or not they complete any transaction.

tireebabe - TBH not that much to see - the heatstamp isn't that clear IMO and I'd certainly like to see it - straight on - not angled. Also the serial/date tag inside the bag, reverse of padlock, underside of padlock and also the side buckles to check engraving. Right now - it could be ok - but equally it could be fake - and it would be good to see the additional areas mentioned. Hopefully the seller will oblige with clearer more close up photos - as at the end of the day - its only photos we have to go on - so its important they are as good as possible

nprotundo - Hi - if you are adding photos - if you could post the original listing number it would be useful.

I've had a look at the photos - and these have obviously been resized - and of course are upside down in a few cases - so I've spun them round. The bag could be ok - but I really want to see this plate - taken the right way up - and in good natural light - as there is some wear on the top left screw - and the seller is managing to hide that in these photos - because of the dark light. The engraving etc., does look ok - taking into account the photos are re-sized - but I think its important that you make sure on the condition of the hardware - as the screws did seem to show some wear on the listing photo - and also the padlock - so with a photo in good light - you would see that. From memory - this paddy isn't on at a 'steal' so please make sure on the condition - its important to find out before, rather than after you make a purchase.
Thank you. I'm not going to take it. The seller does seem to be hiding alot and for that price---your correct, it should be in better condition. LOL, well my search will continue. Thanks a lot. Oh, and sorry for not listing the ID. The post was in the old thread and I didnt know how to quote it, I should of just cut and pasted it. Thanks!
