i am new and am very happy to have found this site! can someone please authenticate this eBay auction for me:

Does this used Paddy look authentic to you guys? The seller says it's a ten month old tan.

Gonatcha, yep, that one looks authentic. I see a lot of wear on the corners but it looks like the real deal to me.

Rosegold, that's a definite fake.

You guys are so good in spotting a fake and I´ll never learn it. Can you see if this one is. I know the pics is a bit dark, but maybe the lock can help you see anything...

Ronja - I think that is a fake - the picture is not good; but, the leather is too stiff and I can't see the zippers.

Moodindigo, that paddy is FAKE. The leather is way too stiff and there has never been a colour scheme like that with beige leather and silver hardware. Even the silver of the hardware is wrong.

That bag looks pretty good to me. Also, that photo with the large chamois looks familiar... or maybe someone had one similar posted here?... in any event it looks good to me but I'm also not an expert.

Is there someone reading this who has a whiskey that can comment?

^^^ Tatibah - I don't think that bag is real. Typically, there is contrast stitching. While I don't have the black bag myself, and maybe someone else here has one, I believe that on the black bag that the stitching is a grey, not a black color. Also, the leather is unusually shiny to me. Based on the stitching alone, I don't believe the bag is legit. Maybe someone here with a black bag could help you out better though. Good luck!

EDIT: Also the screws on the bottom of the lock are not in the correct position. They are backwards. I really doubt this bag is real.

I agree with BalenciagaLove. Another discrepancy is the topstitiching. A black paddy had grey stitiching, not black. There is rumor of a black with black stitiching, but it has not been released yet.
