KathGrace - Hi there - just checked the listing which has ended. Not sure if you bought this. Really would have preferred to see more of this - none of the detailing is really showing. If you did win - post photos when she arrives - close up of the 'Chloe' heatstamp inside the bag, the serial/date tag inside the bag and some general photos of the bag - we'll be happy to double check her for you.

nprotundo - Hi there - not entirely sure what you mean. However, in terms of leather - it is widely thought that the 2005 paddy has the best leather - it is the softest/smooshiest. However, it doesn't mean that the later years don't have good leather. You must bear in mind that each piece of leather is different as it is a natural substance - and therefore even two 2005 bags will differ in terms of their leather characteristics. We can tell the Creme paddy you are looking at is a 2006 bag by the serial/date tag inside the bag - and each bag has one of these tags. They are in fact date tags rather than serial tags - i.e., they tell us the season and the year and are not specific to one bag alone.

kattwoman42 - Hi there - just checked the listings.

First one - looks ok from the photos provided. Do make sure you are happy with the condition of this one. It can be restored by say LMB if you wanted to make it look pristine, and it isn't cost prohibitive IMO.

Second one - not convinced on this one. I'd like to see the 'Chloe' heatstamp inside the bag straight on (its blurred in the photos), also the serial/date tag again its blurred. I'd also like to see the 'Chloe' heatstamps on the zippered fobs and a close up of the oval disc to check the engraving. The photos TBH aren't particularly good - and I'd really prefer to see the detailing better. Hopefully the seller will oblige.

As an aside - I notice that you are looking for Large Quilted Bay - neither of these bags are the Large size - they are both Medium.

its a good fake, if there is such a thing! the serial tag is too square and the heatstamp on the padlock is wonky, i'm sure lescoy spotted other things, these bags make me paranoid and want to check my paddys

I'm sure you will find your bag - it can take time - but be patient - when you find her - it will be worth it.

mmm, this has me thinking now, my first ever paddy was a mousse which i sold a couple of years ago, it had the same heatstamp, nothing else about it pointed to it being fake, could it of been! i always just thought it was a qc thing with chloe and no big deal. When i got her i showed her off on here, i will see if i can find the thread
