bad*mad*bags - Hi, thanks for the photo of your Roche. The problem with that other listing is that the lighting is 'off' and I think its giving a false impression of the colour. IMO the best way to photograph for a listing is in good natural daylight - that way we should be able to see the 'true' colour. Also - I'd also say that Roche in the Edith is rather different to the mini which you have - and although the listing was for a bowler style - I feel that if further photos were requested, taken in daylight - we would see the colour as Roche.

You are getting the same bag a the other member, the exact same. They are both from neiman marcus and can be verified throught the store or whomever. Your bag is in perfect condition, the leather is in perfect condition. The only thing is that in one of the inside pockets has small red writting (I dont know what for). The other member also verified the same bag I am selling (I had 2).

stjohnnut - Hi there - thanks for the additional photos - which look fine. However, I would point out that the seller is incorrect - the bag you would be buying is NOT the same bag - its a different bag of the same style. The fact that the other bag was authenticated is quite honestly of no importance - as its perfectly possible and is happening widely, that sellers are mixing real with fake. Therefore the statement the seller makes - for me - is null and void. Also it can't be authenticated 'in store' as 'Chloe' do not authenticate in store in their boutiques nor in their concessions. Some SA's will give opinion - but it would not be 'backed up' by Chloe. This information we have from Chloe Head Office in Paris.

The number in the inside pocket will be an SKU put there to prevent a store return.

I've only seen the serial/date tag and hangtag of this bag - as in theory I don't know which photos are which from the listing - the tags do match. That given the fact that ellie mae has had her bag authenticated is good. However, I can't authenticate this particular bag for you by the serial/date tag and hangtag alone. I need to see the bag you are buying. Therefore, what I'd say is that yes the tags match and another member bought the same style bag from the seller and it has been authenticated, therefore, the chances are that the bag you receive will be fine.

If you do buy the bag - post photos when you receive her - and we'll happily double check the actual bag for you. I can't really say more than that - as if I authenticate based on the two tags and then there is a problem - someone is going to kick my backside

BabyK - Hi there - the pink Silverado - it caused a stir as initially some members thought it was fake because of the satin whipstitching. It is an 04 bag and this was made - but we don't see this style often at all. It did cause some discussion - but the bag looks good

I had asked the clear pictures of the bag and the seller responded & replaced with the better pictures.
They are still hard to see.... Could you tell me your opnions?

The seller comformed that the the round part of the keyhole on the padlock is facing toward "chloe" heatstamp on the padlock.. It is the right way.

loveshop77 - Hi there - just checked the listing. This looks ok from the photos provided. I would like to see a photo of the plate taken straight on and not angled, the reverse of the padlock and the underside of the padlock. Also the side buckles. Really do need to see these areas to double check. Hopefully the seller will oblige.

nic_ster - Hi there - just checked the listing. This has been posted a couple of times - it looks ok from the photos provided. What I have mentioned is that it might be a good idea to ask for a couple of photos of the bag as a whole, corners etc., taken in good light - just to make sure about the condition. IMO the BIN is rather expensive - there is a Reserve on the listing - but I'd certainly hope to buy for a fair bit less than the BIN.

gagaforgucci - I've had another look at this Bowler - and for me its Roche - its the lighting in the photos - its overlit - either by flash or by light hitting it - if you check this photo - its probably more as it should be - Listing ended - Reserve wasn't met - I imagine it will be relisted. This particular bag is an early 07 bag.

I got this Capsule in defferent color about a week ago and I noticed one thing looking at this listing. Someone connected the chain at the center because the padlock was broken, I think. If the padlock is not used, the chain is not connected. The padlock connects the both sides of the chain. Am I making sence?. I hope it is not difficult to disconnect the chain once the padlock is fixed.

kbnkch - Hi - yes the chain has been connected by the look of it. However, if it was connected, then it can be disconnected by the same means - and then the padlock can be re-attached, as you would normally do with this style. Basically it looks like the seller has just put the chain together in an attempt to make the bag look more complete than show it in a listing with the chain just kind of dangling in two parts. It won't be soldered - just popped in.
