Hi Annebaa,
This needs to be posted in the Prada and Miu Miu authentication section. The bidding has ended now. Did you bid?

If the seller doesn't sell she'll probably relist it anyway giving you more time to get some definitive answers from TPF gals. Just checked her feedback and she's sold many bags with good feedback. She's also got £500 buyer protection with Paypal.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Sorry, but I don't have better pictures, but at a first glance, does this look ok?
Thanks for any help!

Well I know what i'd do. Leave it until she gets back in touch. I always like to see what their communication is like before I send someone £500 for a bag. I'm sure you're thinking the same. It's a bit last minute to offer on this one, let's hope she lists it again so you have time to do your home work first. What do you think?
x

ps. Just checked her other sales and the seller seems to accept about £100 off the buy it now price. So if you do decide to send an offer, be thrifty!

Hi Classbass,
These look like stock photos from a website. The ladies here will need to see photos of the actual bag before they can authenticate. I'm not an expert so won't comment, but do know that if you ask for more photos then you'll have a better chance of finding out if it's authentic.
Where have you seen the bag?

It was listed on eBay, and a friend of mine bought it. Think she paid like 500$. Just wondered, we're both beginners on ebay!
Here's the listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:X:RTQ:US:1123

Hi again,
If she bought it on eBay and they were the only photos then she probably got stung. Can your friend take some photos of the actual bag and post them here? Did she pay with Paypal? If so she could maybe open a dispute if the bag is found out to be a replica. Did the seller say it was 100% genuine in the listing?

Classbass.
I've just checked the listing and there's not much to go on really. There are no photos of the bag the seller is selling only stock photos which mean nothing. If your friend has not paid yet then I would suggest that she ask for photos of the bag she will be receiving. Then post them here then we can take things from there.
If she has paid already then she has 7 days to return the bag for a refund minus postage if the bag is a fake. The seller offered a return policy in the listing.
When you are buying on eBay don't take things for face value and if they use the word Authentic doesn't mean it is. Always always ask for more photos and post them here. The super ladies here are only happy to help you out and save you buying a nightmare fake!

Hi again,
Is this looking ok. Again, i've asked for more photos. Will post when/if I get them.
Many thanks
x
Hi, this is a khaki paddy, and I would like to see as much as possible, as most khaki paddies we looked at in the past few months were super fakes. Now this one could be OK, but I would like to see the metal plate straight on, also the reverse of it with teh engraving close up, also the inside of the handles, then the heatstamp inside and on the padlock close up and straight on, it looks rather crooked to me, the reverse of the padlock, and the underside of it, too! Then the dustbag font, and if any hangtag info is available, this one as well! Right now it doesn't look too bad, but with the khaki ones I tend to be super cautious!
Good luck!

Looks OK to me, but I would like to see the metal plate straight on (looks rather shiny), also the inside of handles, maybe the dustbag...
Listing has ended, but maybe seller will relist? Or you could contact them?

Hi, well the pics on the listing look like stock photos, so you really don't know what you will get... also, seller is new, so you don't know whether they are reliable. Worst of all, Paypal protection is limited to $ 200, which would not cover your costs... I don't know what to do in a case like this... has the seller sent the bag already? Best IMO would be to cancel that transaction unless you get additional pics of the actual bag which look good... If it is too late for that, please post pics and try to go through Paypal with item different than in listing (there is a special term for this case I don't recall at the moment...) Or try a charge back with your CC, if that's possible...
I checked the listing, there is a return policy, so you could try that, but you will loose shipping fees... seller did use the term "authentic", so you could always tell them, that selling a replica is illegal, and thereby get a whole refund...
Best case would be if the bag is real, though, so let's hope for that!
