I have only ever seen the non-quilted Bay IRL, but I think you should ask for the serial number from inside the bag and the hang-tag numbers. They should match.

Also, I would ask where the seller where he got the bag from.

You need close-ups of the heat-stamps and serial numbers and the hang-tag too. I would put this one down as "not enough information."

I actually did already based on the feedback you gave me on the other bag! Maybe I'm starting to get the hang of this! While I'm waiting for the seller's response, what do you think from first glance about the bag? Stitching, edging, etc?

Yeah I saw that too! I kinda laughed to myself. I think I am going to bypass that one . I think the red one is stunning so if it's authentic, I think that's the route I am going to go.

KK, this is the response I got back from the seller...Dear amy4977,The hang-tag # is 06H 6HS434-6H416 and the serial # in the bag is 13-BM-0406, seems that your inpression is not right that these two #s are not identical. However, we assure the authenticity because we purchased it from BergdorfGoodman.com and we have the receipt. You may ask a copy of it if you bid it. However, I should clarify one thing the color indicated on the tag is rouge. We will post the picture on your inquiry ASPS, however since we will be out of town this weekend, we can not be sure the exact time, sorry about that! Thanks and have a nice day!

What does anyone think about this hang tag number and serial number? I have heard that receipts can be easily copied so that probably isn't the best guaranteer of authenticity, correct?

this seller says that she bought this herself and has the NM receipts to go with the auction...oh really, did the bag come with the little leather sample patch hanging on the tag as well??? how do these people sleep at night?? check out the leather patch/sample....
