Hi Ladies--I am usually over in Kooba-Land but I lurk over here occasionally as I have wanted a Betty bag FOREVER. Will someone please tell me if this is real? And tell me what you think about the price..$300.00 is that good? It seems like it to me, Betty doesn't seem as popular as Paddy so I imagine it's demand...etc...??
Thank-You!!! ![]() ![]() http://cgi.ebay.com/Chloe-Betty-Bag-...QQcmdZViewItem |

Its quite a low price, I have never seen this colour in person and if interested I would recommend asking the seller for better pics, especially closeups, front on of the heatstamps, the photos in the listing are pretty poor. Would also be useful to ask for a pic of the back of the clasp and the datecode!! Post the pics back if you get them, someone will be happy to help.

Thanks you guys. Could you tell me what I would want to look for in an authentic edith bag? By saying the heat stamp is off, do you mean because it's not all uniform in size from beginning to end?

Hey guys...sorry it's me again. I had emailed the seller about the serial number and this is the response I got back.
Hi thank you for your interest in my handbag. I don’t have a picture of the stamp serial number. I never do that. I do that out of the respect of the Chloe Company. People take pictures all the time and it allows other people to get the numbers for all the fakes that are made. The handbag does come with a round tag and care card and dust cover. I have had my handbags authenticated by a company called (www.realdealhandbags.com) that is what they specialize in. If you have any more questions please ask. I will be happy to answer them. Thanks Tracy |

Great help that is, I would ask her then for the numbers on both the hangtag and the date code, dont really need a picture of them!!!! Just better pics of the heatstamps, etc!! Usually sellers are very good, on the website address supplied it states that it will supply a letter of authenicity, its a wonder that its not being included in the sale or mentioned in the listing.....

Yes it should be uniform, but also on my edith the MADE IN ITALY is shorter than the Chloe heatstamp above it, hope you know what I mean!

So I actually just walked downstairs to the store (I work for Nordstrom) and checked out some of their Chloe bags. On those bags, the Made in Italy was the same size as the Chloe heatstamp above it. And the stitching looks about the same width. It's just frustrating when you can't actually touch something because that makes all the difference.
