thanks so much!
Well, certainly would want more photos of this one. I've enlarged the plate - and I think the 'Chloe' looks a little 'off', but it may be because of the enlargement - but for me the 'h' looks strange, and also the 'l'. Hopefully if you can get more photos it will be clearer.

Post them as soon as you receive them.

Just out of curiosity, what price would u think it'd still be reasonable?
Also what can be done regarding the hardware? I heard that chloe locks cannot be replaced... with the chipping - i'd think it could only get worse?? like a loose thread in your stockings - one pull leads to ladders!

For me, I wouldn't be overly happy with it, but - in saying that - I imagine that there may be something that can be done regarding the hardware, if you were to find the right workman! They say all things are possible.

Well price wise - uh - its worth what you are willing to pay to get her. I would set yourself a limit though - its at $499 at the moment. 2 and a bit hours to go with one bidder. I think you could be lucky and get her cheap - but it depends as a lot of people bit at the last moments. The padlocks can be replaced, the problem is the price to have a replacement, the time it might take, and the match of the leather. If you check out the eBay Chloe finds pages - there was a post maybe beginning of this week(ish) and there is a paddy which doesn't have a lock (it was a display model). The seller has asked about a replacement and if you read the post you will see what that entails etc.

Hi - just checked the listings.

The first bag - the dark brown - its fake shows an 05 serial tag, definitely not an 05 paddy, and definitely not authentic.

The second bag - the sand leather - its fake - clearly see stuffing inside the handles.

The third bag - not enough photos to give a good opinion. I think I can see something inside the handles - but its really difficult when you enlarge, as it distorts the photo a bit. I'd certainly be looking for more photos to convince me that this is authentic. The usual things, the 'Chloe' heatstamps inside the bag and on the padlock in close up and clearly visible. The serial tag, the hardware, the keyhole placement etc.

Thanks Lescoy, you are such a help on this forum!
I was reading through lots of different threads about locks - according to TPFers the locks are very easy to scratch and even if we buy them new, it gets scratched very easily ...
I read through the post on the dijon paddy with the missing lock

Yes - its unfortunate about padlocks. I suppose its something that you learn to live with. The Mais colour is nice - I like it. I do think though it depends on whether you can live with the scuffs/rubs/chips on the hardware, and also what the price goes to. I think its only the hardware which is the issue - but unfortunately the hardware on the paddy is one of its 'selling points'. You need to make sure that you are happy with it - and can live with it. It may well not be that noticeable IRL.
