Hello ladies!

This seems like a good deal. Didn't want to post it in the deals thread because I wasn't sure of authenticity. Any chance this is real? This seller golfer_golfette is known in the Glass Slipper thread to have sold authentic shoes, so that might help. But with the fake auction a few pages ago from that reputable eBay consignor, we have to be more careful eh?

PS. Lescoy, I haven't gotten over my Edith obsession yet. Despite having purchased from the recent NMLC Edith for $501 sale! Gaaaah!

How many Ediths have you got now!!?? This one, well the photos aren't the best - I'd like to see the 'Chloe' heatstamp on the small flap at the front. Don't appear to be any hangtags - but can see the NM tags. It looks really stiff, but it is obviously stuffed - its not screaming fake, I'd just like to see the front flap up close - just to see as much as possible.

You aren't tempted by the turquoise??

^Nah. Turquoise is all yours. Just got a jeans moyen so my desire for a blue bag has been fulfilled. Have the Edith noir (from milano, where is she now? does anyone know?), the brun (Shopper though), and the $510 ecuriel from that great SA Emeline. One more perhaps? A rouge? I'm pretty sure there's a tPFer out there who has an Edith in every color though, so I'm not so bad eh?
PS. Thanks for looking at that brun Edith.

Well, you are doing pretty well for sure!! Yes, the blue jeans moyen - gorgeous!! Milano - yes I know she moved - must try and locate her!

A rouge would be nice - there aren't many of them. The turquoise I love the colour - just not sure if its for me. I know its a tPFer - and the bag has now been half way round the world - just not sure she is headed for Scotland.

LOL. I love that thought! Our Chloes go around the world and get to see different places and get to stay with wonderful tPFers.

Hi Lescoy, it looks like eBay uk are cracking down on fakes as when you go to the ebay home page it has a link on there on how to report fakes & what to do about getting a refund if you buy an item that turns out to be fake!! With a bit of luck paypal & ebay will get me my refund for the fake bag that i bought!!

Well, hopefully you will get your refund and not have to wait too long.

As for eBay cracking down. I can't agree with that I'm afraid. The number of fakes right now far outweighs the authentic - and in fact IMO its probably worse now than it has been. Therefore, they are certainly allowing listings to remain active, and unfortunately that leads to people being scammed. Some sellers of fakes are getting wise, and listing for short periods - thereby cutting out the possibility of their listings being reported and removed. All we can do is just keep reporting them, and if they aren't removed, just report them daily, and hopefully they will be removed. Apart from that - there isn't much else we can do. Its sad - but unfortunately its true.

Hi there - this has been posted previously, and I think was authenticated. Also - there may have been other photos posted, but I can't remember for sure. It rings a bell with me - last week perhaps?

It looks ok - but there is definitely some hardware marking. The listing says its not marked (either that or it was the question/answers). You can see additional photos were requested - so it may be that that person did post those here - I'd need to go back and look. Would have liked to have seen serial tag and keyhole placement.

Thanks Lescoy, it was authenticated and I saw the additional pictures.

Just wondering, would the wear on the hardware bother any of you/deter you from buying the bag?
I know that finding a mini paddy in that colour on eBay is not easy...

Well, its difficult - as it probably won't be noticed when you are wearing it. The price is ok at the minute - I'd say it would depend on price actually. For me, I wouldn't be overly happy with it, but - in saying that - I imagine that there may be something that can be done regarding the hardware, if you were to find the right workman! They say all things are possible.
