i just posted it there! she sent me the serial number and the file was too big to upload it! i had to crop the pic but its fine now so hopes its good!!

The serial no, is in the correct format, but it doesnt look great to me, have you received the pic of the hangtag yet for the bag?!

Yep, that was what was confusing me, the mastic hangtag!! However I would also ask for a better pic of the heatstamp, the one shown is quite blurry, just to be certain!

Yesterday I asked the seller for pics and she has sent me them, but not of this bag, of a white one. I have asked her for pics of the black Bay right now.

This is fake. The edging on the white bay should be blue and not black. Also, the roundness of the handles should be smooth. On these bags, the are not smooth. The have creases in them. Hope that makes sense. Also the heatstamp on the inner zip is off.

Pekie, I would have said this is authentic. However, seeing this other picture of the heatstamp, it seems weird. Does it look raised to anyone else? Rather than pressed into the leather, it looks like it's above it? It doesn't look like that in the listing. Maybe ask for more pics of the bags from different angles?

Hi, Welcome to tPF!

You are doing it right, this is where you should post authenticate questions. Unfortunately I can't help you, coz I've never seen this before. And this bag doesn't appear to have any of the "normal" Chloe markings. That could be coz this bag is quite old, and I'm only familiar with the newer styles and markings. Hope some else can help. We need sherlock on the job! She loves vintage chloe.

Thanks leanbeanee...i will see if she can post other pics! i really love the colour but want to make sure its the real deal! i agree, the close up heatstamp doesn't seem ok..don't know whether its cause of the fuzziness!

Oohh yeh...just noticed that there! not sure, can chloe have faults like that?? i thought chloe bags has 6 digits..is it normal for it to have lettering in chloes or is that just the edith?

The number/letters on the serial tag is pretty normal for the edith, but can't say I've seen it crooked like this before. It wouldn't surprise me though, coz Chloe's quality control has been quite poor.

hi:) i bought this on ebay just now. i haven't paid for it yet but before i pay for it, i just want to hear your opinion on its authenticity. and despite the defect, it ended at a bit low price than expected so i am bit worried.
oh, and do you know if the broken metal part is fixable? thank you for much for your help~
