Yes that's true. Very good point. I might have to give this a miss because the seller refused me photos twice

You only have pictures of the bag to go on when it comes to ebay and authenticating, so no pictures means you're pretty much buying the bag blind. It's annoying isn't it?

Hi - just checked the links.

The first one - the chocolate - IMO this is fake - just doesn't look right - you could ask for more photos - but for me, the heatstamp inside the bag looks off as does the oval disc on the front. I can't see the reverse of the hangtag and the serial number isn't shown either. I'm going fake on this.

The second one - the beige - is definitely fake
Not seeing a great deal on the photos - but what I can see isn't looking authentic. Also - she sold a quilted Bay - which is definitely fake - if you check feedback - buyer is happy, but if you look at that listing the bag is clearly a fake - its using a hangtag showing an 04 code (for an 07 bag) and also shows Porte Epaulle which is used widely by counterfeiters.

Authenticate This Chloe

The seller made me a buy it now auction, sent me the link and now is requesting payment by direct deposit because paypal would take too long to post the money to her account, and she is leaving the country next week. She is definitely lying, and might not even have the bag in her possession.

Thank you all for your help...
Glad you weren't caught! You'll find your bag - and soon!

Fake in my opinion. Can't seem to see a 'made in italy' under the Chloe stamp.

Check with Lescoy though

I don't want to disappoint you but... the photos are of the same stock photo except zoomed in on different parts. There is absolutely no way to tell whether the bag you'll receive will be real or not... sorry .

I know this is short notice as the auction ends in about twenty minutes but what do you all think about this?

Unfortunately with so little photos it's nearly impossible to say yes or not. I don't think so, the key looks very thin. Given the current bid I can safely say that it's very close to the fake side.

It's alright, you'll find your perfect bay someday. Remember good feedback, lots of pictures (even ask for more no matter how many to make sure they have the bag) and responsive seller means a potential winner .

Thanks, it's much better to be safe than sorry

I hope so kuruma!

the seller is willing to sell this to me with 10% discount
i think in previous posts Lescoy said this was OK but now that i've fallen in love with the bay don't know whether i should hold out for that..

I am glad too!

As the saying goes, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
