Hi - not an expert on the Betty. It looks ok so far. I'd advise asking for more photos. Ideally, the 'Chloe' heatstamp which is on the small coin purse, also the serial tag inside the bag. The zipper pull on the inside of the bag. Also the zippers on the outside of the bag, both the gold and silver toned ones. Really just to see as much as is possible. Hopefully the seller will oblige, and if they are sent by mail, please post them here - there is always some who will be happy to help. Do of course also wait for more opinion.

didn't get good news about the patchwork bag - NAP can't send it to Australia and with the Ava bag, the seller doesn't have a camera to send me pictures! and aloha rag definitely has no more patchwork bags left

chloe has too many gorgeous bags! Lescoy, thanks for suggesting the bay bag! i tracked down what the bay bag actually is and think its gorgeous!

is this real? really love this colour!

Hi there - shame about the Patchwork - the Ava - thats a shame. I'm sure there may be more. The Bay - well the Quilted is a slightly different shape of course than the regular one - but I prefer the Quilted one myself. I've had a look at the link - and given the price I'd be tempted to say fake even before I look properly. Looking at it - I'd say more photos - close up of the oval disc on the front of the bag, the serial tag and the reverse of the hangtags. I'm pretty certain this is fake - but you could always request further photos - just to give a truer indication.

Hi there - just had a quick look. The extra photos are perfect - what a nice seller! The hangtag and serial tag I think seem fine. The 'Chloe' heatstamps IMO are fine. The zipper pull with the 'Chloe' on it seems ok too. I think this bag looks good, but I'd advise of course waiting for more opinion from other members who may know the Better better than I do.

Thanks Lescoy. That was the only tan coloured classic bay bag on ebay and I couldn't find it on NAP, luisaviaroma or aloha rag. The price does make it seem a bit shifty, but I've asked for more pictures just in case *cross fingers*

i got a reply with one of the ava bag sellers, they are unwilling to send photos but they will include the receipt if i buy the bag (receipt from Saks) and guarantee 1000% authenticity... ?

The seller made me a buy it now auction, sent me the link and now is requesting payment by direct deposit because paypal would take too long to post the money to her account, and she is leaving the country next week. She is definitely lying, and might not even have the bag in her possession.

I'm not an expert on any of these and I can't give opinion, but be extremely wary of anyone who claims they can't send photos. They a) may have stolen someone else's pics of an authentic bag or b) not have a bag at all. Getting a receipt after you pay means nothing, plus receipts are easily faked. You only have pictures of the bag to go on when it comes to ebay and authenticating, so no pictures means you're pretty much buying the bag blind. It's annoying isn't it?

Just for the record, I did see this one before and I thought it was odd how the card was conveniently covering the keyhole.
