Chloe can be bought so much cheaper online and on sale that I can't bring myself to pay full price now.

Oh! Please please post pics of your new Chanel!!!

Girls - just a little reminder - this is 'Aussie Girls information pack' Thread - and its rapidly becoming more of a small 'chat' Thread. Can you please keep the Thread OT - if at all possible

TIA

Hey ladies,

I've just found out that Saks online ships to international destinations now. The prices of the bags come up in AUD and it calculates the exchange rate and charges for Aus duties and taxes for you. I tried checking out a Heloise hobo (AUD$1920) and was charged (around AUD$100) for shipping and (AUD$300) for Aus taxes. That probably makes it about the same as purchasing it from DJs but I guess we now have a little more variety and come sale time it should be pretty good! :)

On another note, I am now in love with the royal blue Marlowe from the Nordstrom site. Wish they would follow in Saks footsteps as well. From what I hear, Nordstroms has better customer service when it comes to faulty/damaged bags.

Saks has shipped here for a while, I find the prices on NAP cheaper though with taxes and conversion.

Thank you so much Lescoy.

Well, wonder how a few of the other stores are getting their Chloe stock!

Anyway, thought I'd add that as Jean Brown is an authorised stockist, by association "The Tribune" should also be an authorised stockist, I would assume? It sells past season Jean Brown Stock.

http://www.jeanbrown.com.au/template....php?secID=168

From the website: "provides a treasure trove of discounted past-season shoes, handbags, accessories and clothing from many of the designers stocked in the Jean Brown group's flagship stores"

Or you know, we could all go spend $2,495 in DJs every time we want a Chloe fix.

Jean Brown are having an additional percentage off on their Sale items until the 20th of September

They have a few Chloes listed:
http://www.jeanbrown.com.au/Home/Loo...eorientation=0

Paraty wallet, Shelby bag, Sally bag, Kerala bag.

Prices are well, Australian sale prices so all still over $1,200 but if you're looking for a bag that's already been on sale and sold out everywhere else in the world, chances are it's still in Australia "reduced" to a still ridiculously high price.

hi, stockists like Miss Louise and Luisa are boutique stores where their buyers fly to the fashion week shows and buy direct. There are many boutiques that do this for many various stores here. Its not an indication of dodgy suppliers.

I do want to highlight to aussie girls that our dollar is doing phenominally well and we should go nuts right now. Ebay, the Outnet, etc, go nuts.

Rowe55 - I don't think that the stores you mention were questioned as being unreliable. The issue is that they are not Authorised Chloe stockists - so basically Chloe don't give out their details because of that. There are many small stores/boutiques all over the world which have bits and pieces of Chloe - however - it is important that anyone - whether in Australia or anywhere else - is certain of the legitimacy of the supply. Whether the store/boutique is bona-fide or not - we have still seen issues with items being sold which aren't authentic - and they are sourced from a particular region - which has caused a huge amount of problems to both buyers and sellers alike.

I can give examples - but its not prudent to do so.

I'm glad your Dollar is doing well - it would be nice if the UK Pound did likewise
