^ and you know the Jean Brown Gallery have a nutmeg heloise hobo if you are intersted - I'm not sure if it is still there but it was around $2000. I think they will be having there end of year sale soon. They already started with a 30% off sale but a very limited selection. Really I don't know who buys their Chloe bags but I hope their next season will be a better selection. There - I said it Same goes for NAP!

Yep, international NAP doesn't have a big choice! Thanks for the heads-up on the heloise hobo at Jean Brown - will need to go check it out one day.
I know I want the bag, but I don't know if it will suit me as it's so big, so I want to try it on first. I don't want to buy it without trying it on and then hate it! It's like the paraty - I really like it, but I tried it on and it just didn't look right on me

I tried a large paraty at the Jean Brown gallery last season and it really didn't work for me at all but the small ones at DJ's were perfect - they had black, chocoloate, a latte colour and white. You might change your mind because I also thought the paraty did not work for me. The shoulder strap length was perfect too - being a shortie - it didn't hang around my knees the length was just right!

Hmm, I haven't tried the small yet... will really need to make it a priority to go to DJs this week - before they sell out

I had seen this site before but wanted to add to our list. Canadian consignment store so generally better than US dollar to ours, depending on how good exchange rate is. Thanks to mica for reminding me about it.

P.S. Good bump Rowe55! (Gee the first time I typed that I missed the 'p ' on bump - too funny!

I was in Melbourne DJs last week and they have a small black paraty without a pocket in store (I have my eye on a white paraty!!). However it's not on sale yet. The only Chloe they had on sale was one large bay bag and a few purses and keyrings. The purses were half price so ended up a very good buy!!

I will let you know if it does go on sale though!!

Black one is gone - White was there yesterday. I fondled that patent bay many many times, but she is now gone too. $1600 is too much for a bag i think (bay). I'd love to run into a tpfer in DJ's, we can giggle and fawn over the Chloes together.

How did you buy from fashionphile? Please let me know as I've never been able to buy any of their stuff as paypal australia won't let me confirm my address. They state on the site that they only send to confirmed paypal addresses - even if it's international. There have been so many bags I've wanted and couldn't get because of that!!!

I had that problem last year too - they changed their policy. They wanted all paypal accounts to be linked to a bank account. With so many horror stories which is another subforum i didn't want to do put my account up there. I opened another new account just for paypal and use that. Thats all they need. I explained to the bank what i needed - lowest costing account. All good now.

I think it leaves you with the option of using the account as the main paypal method. So i had to make sure that all my paypal transactions used my cc card as the main source (for security) - in case of the usual ebay problems that can occur i wanted to be protected.

They have heaps of bags there not on ebay! You should take a look. I just paid with my credit card. They also take offers on the bags there too. I made an offer and they accepted it :)

I have a credit card, a bank account and everything and it's still impossible to confirm my paypal address. I've called paypal about it before and they couldn't help. If you've managed to get a confirmed address please let me know - my account is verified but paypal Australia can't confirm my address I've been told.

Thanks for that! I can buy from fashionphile now! Just have to decide if I feel confident enough to buy without the paypal security net - in case it's not as described or if the bag goes missing, I won't have any protection from my credit card company.

I received my heloise bag today! Its pretty quick! I paid them on Wednesday and they processed it on thursday. Shes lovely.. the leather is sooo soft.
Fashionphile shipped using USPS and they marked it as a used bag.
I didnt have to pay customs duties, so that was a plus.. Its insured and they gave me a tracking number for it too.

The bag was nearly as described.. just a little bit of peeling on the handles that I wasnt expecting. I was charged $34.95 for shipping and they do refund within 5 days if its not what you were after.

So far, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. Will definitely use them again :)

Just to let everyone know, there are some chloe pieces on sale at David Jones in the City and at Bondi Junction in Sydney. They had the chloe paddington in pinkberry , the same in cream + a front pocket paddington in navy in the city going for around $1100+ and $1245 (the front pocket paddy) at 50% off, but they've sold out. I saw the pinkberry paddington at Bondi Junction and they have a brown-gold front pocket paddy at bondi junction on Sunday.

Also Paddington wallets are 50% off, making them $345. Last I saw they had pink, red, cream and navy in the city and brown and red at Bondi Junction. Those are for the long ones, I did not check the price of the small ones.
