Not yet, no!
We have had rain today and on the weekend I got an extra foxtel box put in my room so I dont even have to get out of bed now!
I was content to stay there instead of shop haha.
Then work for the rest of the week so that will keep me busy. Next weekend on the other hand...

Oh you are being good. I kid of feel the same way. I can't quite seem to drag myself to the store in the city. But I am going to follow up those bays - for some reason I assumed they were quilited but it actually doesn't say that. I'll call tomorrow to see what they have.

Puka and Jaime - no purchases to report? I'm flat broke to. Well I could buy a new bag and max out my cc or be good for 2 months and pay it off. I'd just rather pay it off at the moment. Then the hill doesn't seem so steep to climb when you are paying it off. But bloody great sale!!!!

There was a dark green patent and the patent navy - they weren't padded bays and there were no larger one - all "half-moon" sizes if you KWIM!

They were all $1250 (after the 50% discount).

I just received my first Chloe Paddington Bag (python I was told) from David Jones in Perth Australia - absolutely beautiful! I would suggest if you are passing by to 'pop in' and see the other beautiful Chloe bags they are selling here!

I still don't know how it can be Python (it has scales and is black) - does anyone have any info on the material the serial is :- 08H 7ESA 02-8H879

ajfella - If you have the circular hangtags which came with the paddington - it should give you the leather composition of the bag - i.e., Veau Pleine Fleur (cow leather) or whatever - the number you show above isn't a serial number - its merely a style.

The circular tab has Garment 100% goatskin coating 100% calfskin leather - however when I registered the bag and asked them to give me some ideas how to care this is their reply:- Professional waterproof and professional leather conditioner are the two products you would like to use to protect your Paddington bag in python.
I'm copying below the full care instructions regarding general care.

ajfella - the information on the tag doesn't mention Python. Goatskin and Calfskin done equal Python, no matter how you look at it. If the bag has scales - then it has to be reptile, unless its been specifically made to appear like reptile. Some bags like the Cyndi tote were made with a reptile pattern in some cases, but they weren't reptile skin. Neither Goat or Calf are. I would advise you contact Chloe - go to the website and you can ask them a question - and advise on the type of composition on the tag and also the number on the tag. I'd also advise that you quote the number on the Hologram sticker both on the serial/date tag inside the bag and the Plastic Registration card. They may be able to tie those up - although not necessarily. Ask if they can confirm the material for this bag - and how best to care for it. I think its definitely best to double check - as I know I have asked a question and received a rather strange answer - and then when I re-asked the question - I got a more sensible answer.

^^ajfella - Well at least you have had a response. There wouldn't be a question re authenticity - but its better to know for sure the composition of the leather etc., that way you can treat it with any appropriate products and not just guess at it.

Post photos of her in a Reveal Thread - all of the girls love to see new bags in their new homes!

Also i found out a boutique store in the QV centre in Melbourne called Christensen Copenhagen sells some Chloe. Its directly across from Cactus Jam. Look for the store name in other cities, there may be some.

There wasnt a sale on at the time, but they have clothing as well as purses and bags from Chloe, along with other high end designer brands

David Jones have a lot of new season (i.e. we are catching up 6 months ago) in store now. I got to see a small tribal paraty - very dinky (for a third of the price) ...it was mainly canvas!

If anyone sees a small black paraty go on sale in Australia please let me know!

P.S. Good bump Rowe55! (Gee the first time I typed that I missed the 'p ' on bump - too funny!

Ooh, they have paratys in the Brissy DJs?

No, no heloises but they also had a sally and an ethel. It was such a buzz to see them IRL!
