I heard there were paddingtons in DJs for $1250 - my friend reported back but I am doing my best to STAY AWAY. I dont have a car today either which is a good thing. It will help keep me away. I really dont need another paddington but there was a colour Ive been eyeing for months.

HI Aussie Chloe Gals
I am a complete newbie to Chloe - don't usually like it much (SORRY!!). BUT I was at DJ's here in Perth a few days ago and bought a small purple patent leather and suede pochette. There was a large bag in the same colour/style as well but was a bit too expensive - even at half price!! The pochette was half price and SO adorable. I couldn't resist. Anyways, I was wondering if someone could tell me what it's called - I've googled and looked through the forum but can't work it out. Is this the right place to post or should I put it somewhere else in the Chloe forum?? Thanks Julie |

Hopefully it would have gone by now....maybe I should call tomorrow....It had silver hardware. Even brand new in the store it looked a bit scuffed up. Is that normal? It was a bit off putting. |

I saw that colour today, I stupidly went. I love that one but the one at the DJs I went to today had weird looking stamps on the padlock and the heatstamp on the inside was off. They had a mahogany (I think it was) as well and it looked fine but the rosewood looked *really* off so I felt better about not buying. I really want the dome paddy they had though. In my local DJs they had all the Chloes on sale and they were the same ones that were there before the sale so it doesnt look like theyve sold a single one. I dont think people are buying quickly anymore possibly due to the financial situation so the one you saw might just still be there!
If the dome one is still there next week I will probably get it. But yes I have 2 paddys with silver hardware and I guess it does kind of look "scuffed" brand new. I dont think it looks bad though, its not like its chipped or scratched or anything. I prefer the silver hardware. |

I was at DJs in Sydney City yesterday and saw the 50% off sale - they have Bays (small) and a couple of different styles of paddington (including the tote). All up there were about 7-8 Chloes on a table with MJs and Jimmy Choos. No paratys, keralas or any of the other big ones.
It's all last season, but great prices! |

I am supposed to be on a ban - why oh why do they have sales so often! I would never buy a Chloe here full price. The stores that sell them seem to go on sale every few months and not by a little either the last 2 bags I bought were on sale for 50% off!

Puka and Jaime - no purchases to report? I'm flat broke to. Well I could buy a new bag and max out my cc or be good for 2 months and pay it off. I'd just rather pay it off at the moment. Then the hill doesn't seem so steep to climb when you are paying it off. But bloody great sale!!!! |
