It's free with all Windows. Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint. Open up your picture, click on the "A" button on the left toolbar, and then write your name. To make it transparent (so that you don't have a white box around your name), click on the button at the bottom of the toolbar on the left (the one with the colour shapes). Easy! Hope that helps. My DH bought me a PowerMac last year. I tried to use it, I really did! I couldn't even figure out how to rotate pictures! All my pictures came up sideways, and I couldn't rotate them! Stopped using the mac within a week. The one button mouse was sooooooooooooooooo annoying!
