Here's a pic of my '06 Blanc/Ivory paddy (in natural light):

I've seen the '06 Creme, and while the Blanc looks a bit like buttermilk, the '06 Creme is deeper and richer and looks like whole evaporated milk -- no, scratch that. it looks like very pale cafe au lait. Hope that helps!

I have sprayed the Apple stain repellent on my light colored bags with great success though on another forum someone had a problem with a light colored bag. It worked great on my light blue clair paddy with no color change.
Sonja, I think many are recommended the apple leather conditioner but not the apple leather cleaner (it is too harsh)

gina_b: your bag is perfect! Much better than the creme, IMHO

Soooo.... after craving all your wonderful shades of white paddies I managed to snag a Blanc for myself today. I am SOOO HAPPY!! Hopefully it will get here soon

Thank goodness my DH understands.

More than I can say for most of my girlfriends though! I am afraid I'll have to hide the blanc from them since they have already seen me with my other two!! I am sure to get a stern lecture from at least one of them on the finer points of frugality -- not something I am terrible good at! hee hee

Hmm... Knowing the way my bags get treated (though not always by me) I think I may have to get some of this Apple stain repellent soon, too.

hmwe46 and Audrey, thank you! I've got a whiskey and a bordeaux in addition to this one, and they're all tied for first place in my book. But that said, the Blanc is simply luscious and elegant. (Good luck hiding the Blanc from your friends, hmwe46. It's such a pretty bag, it'll be tough to miss!)

Congrats hmwe46 on getting a blanc paddie ... I'm positive that you'll love it! Remember to post pics of your new paddie.

I think so, but I'm not as up on all the name variations as the Chloe experts on the board. At the Chloe boutique in London where I bought this one, the tag said "bordeaux". There's a pic of it here (towards the bottom of this post:

Gina might have a little addiction...

I do believe that blanc is still being made. I got it from another PF-er, so it's pre-loved. I will post pics as soon as I have it in my hot little hands

Check out the Eliz Thomas store on eBay and at ElizThomas.com for at least one blanc that she is offering for less than retail. My DH bought a bag from her (the whiskey for my Mom), hasn't received it yet, but I hear she deals great authentic products. I'll keep you all posted on that too!

oh if anyone outside the US and somewhere in Australasia Pacific needs some Apple stuff, i did a big group purchase some months ago, and still have a bunch of stuff (Care, pump spray Garde, cleaner, suede). i'd be happy to post to you just using normal postage, so let me know

also, luggageandleather.com also sell this, in case leatherstuff is being difficult.

the owner (Kevan) was willing to post out to me by the cheapest option, so you might find them to have a cheaper in total than leatherstuff?

I think that only two reds were made (?) prior to the current season and that "Bordeaux" looks exactly the same as my "Grenat" so I'd say they're the same color.

I'm not in Australasia Pacific but in Europe and I'm planning on buying from leatherstuff but maybe I could rather buy from you..? What do you think?

I've been thinking of buying apple care and the spray that protected from rain and dirt ( propably same stuff as pump spray garde - but does it make easily wet spots...?)
