tannybop - Hi there and welcome to the Purse Forum

Now for an 05 bag - the plastic zipper inside is fine. Really would be best if you could post photos of the bag - and we can take a look at her for you - without any problem. If you can take some photos - 'Chloe' heatstamp inside the bag, the one on the padlock, the serial/date tag inside the bag. Also the underside of the padlock, the reverse of the padlock.Side buckles showing engraving. Also the plate with the 'Chloe' engraving. Then we can see the 'hotspots' and be able to set your mind at rest hopefully. There is an Authenticate this Chloe thread - and here is the link - if you post there - some of the girls will take a look for you-

If you have just those photos in their own album, then you SHOULD be able to copy and paste the LINK to the album, as long as it is a PUBLIC album.
You can ATTACH smaller photos as THUMBNAILS also if you don't want to publicize your photo album.

This is a great thread for Chloe newbies like me! :) I have a question regarding tags...

I have noticed on a lot of fake bags (mainly Gucci, that's my forte!) that have tags ATTACHED to the bag. With Gucci, there are never, ever anything attached TO the bag, only tags that come with it or are popped inside it...

Is this consistent with Chloe, or do Chloe bags come with the round white tags attached? Just curious!

P.S Sorry if this has already been answered, haven't got round to reading every post yet, but I will! Dying to "educate" myself about these bags.

wikandanis - This website sells fakes.

Unfortunately - you can't actually ask if anyone wants to sell their authentic paddys - Want to Sell and Want to Buy threads are not allowed.

Do though - check the 'Chloe eBay/Website finds pages' its possible you may find something there which fits the bill. Please though do be sure to post anything listed on EBay on the 'Authenticate' this thread - I'm posting the links for both of these threads below -

i'm really worried about my new paddy... everything seems to match with what youve said here so i think its a genuine chloe paddington, but the thing that worrys me is that the brass on my lock and on the lock loop seems to have eroded off revealing a silver base.... does this mean my bag is fake?!
please help!

xixihaha - Hi there - I have responded on the Authenticate This Chloe
Thread to this question for you - basically the hardware on your paddy will be a 50% Brass 50% Zamac composition - Zamac being a derivitive of Zinc, Aluminium, Magnesium and Copper - so it is possible if there is wear/chipping that there will be a silvertone showing. However, as I said on the other Thread - if you'd like to post photos of the bag - we'll be happy to give her a quick check for you - there are some superfakes around - and its always wise to double check.

I am new to the forum. I'v been wanting to buy a baby paddy for some time but want to make sure that I am getting the real thing. Can someone help me check if this bag is authentic? I have never seen an ivory colored paddington bag with light grey borders. Usually the borders of an invory colored paddy are of borwnish tones.
