Hi! I just got my first edition chloe edith. I'm so glad to finally got it coz its really light compare to the last ones I've seen on sale at NM tables. Only one things bugs me with my whiskey edith is when I fold it (i have to pack it coz im taking it overseas)....the left sides folds nicely but the right side is wrinkled/crinkled...like there's an extra leather in it. Are first editions made like that? can i post pics here or should i post it at the authentication thread? TIA!

just taking a look at all these beauties make me want to take my Edith on a walk!! I've been into Bal lately so I guess I have to be nice to Chloe once again!!

Hi! Attached is the pics....is this kind of wrinkle (right side) common for 1st edition edith or is it like damage/not so good workmanship. Your input will be greatly appreciated. TIA

Gorgeous edith firstly, in my opinion, I always assumed that the ediths were meant to have that very obvious rumpling in the leather. Which you don't find with the obvious fake ones. I would think that each edith would be a little bit different, and that this difference in the folding is just a quirk - rather than a fault... I wouldn't worry about it!

I agree with daisyrockyrosie, bagdizzy.

Your Edith looks perfectly fine to me, mine has that little "rumpled" look too at the side, and it's been authenticated here.

Also - I love the whisky - great colour choice!

The bag looks fine, each Edith is different, in addition to the two above, I also have a black one, and it's different from the whiskey. All were bought at high end retailers, so I know they are legit, as mentioned above, it's the characteristic of the bags. I really like the leather on the Edith line, I have people compliment me on them continually, they always like to touch the leather.....LOL
