When the Edith was first released in Spring '06 I scoured every Saks, NM and BG I knew looking for a whiskey one. I specifically wanted one with "perfect" leather. I was able to find a desirable one at Saks but it was missing a date code tag. It bothered me enough that I returned it, thinking I would never find another gorgeous Edith (the leather is pretty hit or miss). It's the Edith pictured at the opening of this thread.

However, as luck would have it, I was able to purchase another beautiful Edith that was even more wrinkly, smooshy and pebbly than my first one! I just got around to taking photos of her (had her for awhile now). Gotta love the first edition leather.

ooohh!! lordguinny, that edith is so gorgeous! i've only ever liked the edith in whiskey - yours is TDF!!! so jealous.

gingerfarm, I love that mais color! It looks very versatile. I wish I had a strap for my Edith. It would make the bag much more usable. Wearing the Edith on at the elbow can make it heavy sometimes (especially since my arms aren't stick thin enough to wear it on the shoulder).

Does anyone know what color/style of shoe matches the muscade/muscat edith? I want to get shoes to match my edith.

I just purchased my first Edith with strap from Net A Porter's sale. The color is Ecuriel 07S. Is that color the same as Whiskey? I'm not real sure about it. I was going to buy both the black & the Ecuriel, but black bags always seem so plain to me. Any opinions? Should I keep her?

I have just been told by a Nordstrom saleperson that Ecuriel and Whiskey are different. Ecuriel has more Orange tones and he whiskey more brownish redish tones.

A few days ago I was at Nordstrom's and saw an Edith in Royal Blue. Have any of you seen this color before? Does anybody know what season it is from? Thanks!
