I'm curious because of a thread I saw earlier. Does the Edith have a batch tag in the interior pocket? A better question may be: is there an interior pocket? Advance thanks..

Hi ya Em! Keep an eye out for the regular sales on Aloha Rag. I got a Chloe Edith and Silverado there for well under $1,000 AU when they went on sale late last year.

chloebalenciaga - The Edith satchel has an interior pocket with a date code tag. Some of the first season Ediths don't have the date code tag. Chloe is known for their inconsistent tagging.

Sanguar - I use appleguard care lotion on all of my leather handbags. It works wonders!

Gelly - I your Canteen! It's a wonderful model of the Edith to be worn on the shoulder!

I'm pondering - is the chocolate colored edith similar to the chocolate colored paddington? I already have the choc paddington so wondering if it would be too similar to get a choc edith as well?

The leather is quite different. The Paddy is much more soft and pebbly. The colors are both in the dark brown family, but not exactly the same shade. So you might be able to justify having them both.

^ Neimanmarcus.com has the white one for $1105 called the "Small Edith Satchel". Luisaviaroma.com has it in three colors, incl. white, black, and another and calls it the "Edith box". Last F/W, Aloharag sold the whiskey and choco ones and called them "Edith Loaf". and that's when several tPFers, including myself, bought these adorable cuties!

Once in a while an authentic choco edith loaf pops up on eBay...Just saw a couple not too long ago.
