Chloé synonyms : dove=mousse, tobacco=brun... what else ?

I think it would be great if you could explain to new chloe's addicts wich colors are in fact the sames : for exemple, i was wondering if whiskey and cognac where the same color, and whiskey and ecureuil too ?

off the top of my head

Eucreil = Whiskey
Sable = sable
Sand = Creme
Juane = yellow/sunflower
muscade = nutmeg
blue nuit = midnight blue
blanc = ivory
craie = chalk
tan = tan
gris vert = gray/green
taupe = taupe
kaki = olive green
argent = metallic silver 06
aubergine = bronze
anthracite = dark metallic silver 06
jean moyen = blue jean
grenat = blue red
rouge = bright red

I don't know if this is what you were looking for ??

i might be wrong about some of them though.

So it confirm to me that whiskey = ecureuil cause looking on eBay, i saw many whiskey paddys with "ecureil" wrotten on their chloé tags.

It's easy to get confused. People's perception of color is sooo different so the tag makes it official for the most part.

Nice summary D&G!!!

I think the following is also true:

Mousse = Gris Vert = Dove -> all grey/grey with maroon or green trim
Brun = tobacco -> dark brown
Grenat = bordeaux -> dark, pomegranate red

i tought that mousse was different from gris/vert (My paddy's tag says MOUSSE" and a saw a pic from a paddy wrotten "gris vert).

Gaufrettebis I think hmwe once told she compared IRL mousse and gris vert and the only difference was in colour of the edging (which in gris wert is dark purple/maroon and in mousse it's darker mousse colour) but basicly the colour of the body on these bags was same

^Yeah they are all one and the same.

Because gris/vert means 'grey green' - i have a mousse paddy, otherwise known as Dove, and that has a green tinge to it - and as Sonja says, mousse/dove has a different colour edging than the gris/vert.

Too funny!!

So I had a mousse bag with a mousse tag and it was identical in body color to a bag at Bloomies with a tag of gris vert. The only difference was the edge work: on my bag it was green, on the gris vert it was maroon.

I have never heard of a Chloe color called "slate"

i think that's what the Saks sa told me when i've asked her today what's the blue color paddy you have on the floor and she said slate???
she was too busy to elaborate it... hmm...

I'll call tomorrow to get the EXACT color on the chloe tag...
