I am late, too, but it's the smaller, lighter bay that's calling me!

I thought i would just post this in here rather than starting a new thread. i have exchanged my heloise after a couple days of use. i found the weight of the bag unbearable even though i havent stuffed it much. i really want a bag im not afraid of to put more things in if im out and about and although the heloise has the space - the weight would kill me.

So i got a bay instead in the lovely chocolat colour - i really wanted a black but the darkest is the brown. i have been using it a whole week now and i love it. i love everything about it and its so good to have so many compartments and i can fit loads in here. i was abit worried about the thinness of the leather but its beginning to soften up more.

so now i can join this club!!

^^Sorry about your Heloise Pekie, but I do know what you mean about the weight.
I have a black quilted Bay and I took her out today for the first time in ages. It is so funny how different the Bay feels compared to the Heloise.
I love this brown.

Hi ladies.
I have finally purchased my first Chloe! A lovely black quilted by from Chloe boutique Sloane Square. It was a toughy as I really really love the Heloise but after an hour or so in the shop I just couldn't escape the truth that the large is too large for my frame and the small just won't fit all my crap. I kind of loved the bay as well but in a different way. Just one thing - it's supposed to be the black version, but IMO it really looks like a very dark brown. The SA said that is the black for the bay - what do you think?

Others who have bought the black Quilted Bay stated that the black was more of an "espresso" black, a very dark coffee brown. So it should be OK! Congrats, I love the Quilted Bay!

Yeah thanks, I am loving it, it's got kind of a rock and roll thing going on in a really subtly 70s way.

I'm glad there are still a few Bay lovers out there! Heli's are definitely gaining popularity over Bay.

Both are very nice bags, but think I still prefer the weight of the Bay.

i just bought it! it probably won't get to me until like next year with shipping and all, but we'll see

what other bags do you own? are you a chloe girl through and through or do you branch out to other designers? this will be my third designer bag (one louis vuitton speedy and one electric blue jimmy choo mahala are already in my closet in their dustbags).
