Does anyone know what the interior of the bays should look like? I've seen a camel quilted bay with a brown lining, but have also seen photos of another camel quilted bay with a beige lining. Is this normal or should they be the same since they are the same style?

I'm a newcomer to TPF and am a confirmed Chloe addict. My first purchase was a Whisky Edith and after that came FOUR medium Quilted Bays - terribly excessive I know, but I just couldn't help it! In all my years of bag addiction I've never been quite so taken with any design before. Here are my girls. The first pic shows the Noir and Metallic and the second pic shows the Moka and Blanc. Enjoy !

Glad you like them! They all came from different places. My first was the Noir which I bought from www.net-a-porter.com, second was the Blanc which came from a very reputable eBay seller, third was the Metallic which came from a fabulous London boutique called 'Koh Samui' ( they have quite a few in stock right now if you're planning a trip to London!) and the final purchase was the Moka from Libertys store in London (another treasure trove of Chloe goodies).
I've got my eye on the Black patent version now but they're SO expensive (and I've only just bought the Moka) so even with my weak will where it comes to Bay bags, I think I'll have to wait for a while before I add a fifth one to my collection ! ![]() |

Hi Tag! Welcome to tPF!
Your Bays are lovely. I adore the metallic. The patent would be a lovely edition to your already impressive Bay collection. How about the patent green one to add a splash of color? ![]()

I've never seen the patent green in the flesh but I must admit I have eyed it up on-line! Did wonder though whether something in that vivid colourway might end up being a five minute wonder though ? What do you think ?Also how do these patent bags wear in ? Do they get very wrinkly or mark easily ? Would love to hear from any TPF'ers that own a patent Bay. As for being enabled to splurge on the black patent version...I fear it wouldn't take too much encouragement but does any woman really NEED five of the same bags in different colours ? Don't answer that !!!

Have any of you Bay owners ever waterproofed your bags and if so, which product did you use to do this and did it alter the colour of the bag at all ? In the Chloe care cards that come with the bags it suggests they should be waterproofed but when I called the flagship store in London I was told this was not necessary. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Wow you really like this medium Bay. I saw my niece's Mocha IRL over TG weekend and was very impressed. So much better than the picture. I'm contemplating the Epice medium quilted Bay. Do you wear yours over the shoulder?? |

Yup - I've got a great passion for the Bay ! They can be worn very comfortably on the shoulder and never feel too heavy to me, even when they're stuffed full. The Epice is very elegant - go for it!

I always perk my ears when a designer bag gal goes ga-ga for another team. Thanks for the info! I think I am going for the Epice! |
