I just GOT this bag!

The chocolate version of the style in the first post. It's softer than BUTTER, and was on the shelf 10 minutes before my friend picked it up for me... "is this the Chloe you wanted??" Yes. Yes it is.

It replaces a non-designer bag I had grown way too fond of carrying out of being lazy; a green camo surfer messanger bag I slung over my shoulder on the way out the door. The day my boyfriend dissed it (rightly so) I went out to jump the big-bag trend and ended up drooling over this new Chloe "shoulder bag" creation.

It's so big the handle folds over when it's on my shoulder and I tell you, women GAPE at it when I pass. No one has mustered a compliment yet, but I think thats cause it's such a statement bag and no one has been around me long enough to ask about it yet.

Just a happy post, since the bag found me yesterday I'm still in the newlywed phase.

the red/black tekla drives me WILD...!!!
i like it even more than the red edith bowler i'm currently lusting after. the only thing is that the size of the tekla isn't *quite* large enough for me...

... and it costs sooo much more than edie!

I LOVE the Tekla I bought a few weeks ago, it was an impulse buy (which I'm famous for). Its the smaller of the 3 in Bordeaux. The leather is amazing. And its the prettiest Chloe I have ever owned. Sadly I just listed it on eBay, I know I will never carry the darn thing. Too many bags. It was so nice getting a Chloe without the big ugly lock on it. The Teklas are so light. I hope they continue the line in different colors. Would love to see a dark blue one. Or even a dark green.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the larger tekla with the shoulder strap and what color the hardware is? And it doesn't come in black does it? Thanks in advance!!

the large tekla from the catwalk photo that i posted measures 12.75" x 15" x 5" ... the hardware is silver, and yes it comes in black!

Thanks! Actually, mine looks a wee bit darker... and all these pics make these guys look "stand up ish" and quite structured. Mine is VERRRRRY slouchy, the handle folds over, even.

Much like me, after drinking! LoL j/k. I don't drink. Hehe not yet anyway... is it 5 yet? <g>

are the handles on the black one dark brown? It's so lovely. Very strange, though, on nm.com the red, black and brown are selling for $1300-something, while the blue is $1900-something. Judging by the pics, the size is exactly the same. Of course, they don't give measurements.

I have to add that I saw these bags in person today, and they are soooooo light and squishy.

yup, the handles on the black one are dark brown...i was wondering the same thing about the teklas listed at NM! in the actual stores, they are unfortunately priced $1935. i had thought they meant for the $1300-ish one to be for the smaller size and have the wrong photo with the listing? wonder if that has caused issues for them...BG has them priced correctly...
