All about Tekla!!!

but they have the smaller one in that light color, priced HIGHER than the brown/red/black - it's like 17-something. So bizarre. I really like the bag, though. Saw it in person, and it was so yummy soft. I never would've noticed it from the pics.

Ok I contacted NM and they said that 1300 price reflected the current, MARKED DOWN price... um, baloney. Whatever, their sister site has it priced correctly.

I just ordered the Tekla from NAP... in black with the dark brown handles... I just love this bag.. I can't wait to have it in my hands.. I have been reading what was said in this thread and you convinced me.. with all the words like butter, soft , yummy .....
I don't see a lot of discussion for this bag.... I guess it's more exclusive than the Paddy... Does anyone has this bag ??

It's amazing. Huge, make no mistake, it's Chloe's version of a messenger bag (which it is unofficially nicked btw) and I carry it around a lot when I'm carrying for others like SO, friends, nieces, nephews, etc. I use it when I'm taking subways or public transport too because it's SOOOO undercover no one but those who know understand what a fabulous bag it is.

In the midst of fashionistas, I get LOSSA credit and compliments. And with tall brown boots, this bag kills!!

PS. I love it you won't be sorry

...i bought the brown tekla 2 weeks ago in a shop in frankfurt/germany. it's so great. soft, soft, buttery leather and with so much space for all of my details. i do really love it! i have 2 paddys as well, but for the moment they have to stay at home. it's my tekla that is my companion all day long...

I usually post a few times a day. But not today. My Tekla leather ripped down the side at the attachment for the shoulder strap.

I am gentle with this bag, it looks brand new. Except for the dangling strap where the attachment ripped from the side.

Not amusing! I can feel your pain...

...but don't worry. normally chloe should give you a repair. i had probs with the attachment of my paddy...dangling strap... i brought it back to the shop where i had purchased the bag, they sent it to chloe and a month later i got it back, repaired for free.

Thx for your information! Should we tekla freaks take special care regarding the weights, we carry in our bag? i guess - yes! indeed, the leather is so soft and thin

Angelfish- That really Tekla is beautiful, but it's upsetting to hear about the rip!!! DId they give you a repair?

I used my tekla a total of 3 times before the attachment for the shoulder strap ripped off. I was heartbroken but I brought it back to the store I bought it and they reinforced it and made it stronger. You can't even tell that it had ripped. They did advise me though to not carry heavy items in it. Then what is the point of having a large bag? I don't care I still love it!

Hi all tekla freaks, my tekla seems to be a new generation. the shoulder strap can be fastened in a completely different way. not on the side! there are 2 additional metal rings behind the handstrap's fastening. unfortunately the pics i took are too big to upload...I'll try in the next days...greets from germany, LYN

FYI, Neiman Marcus has this on the 40% markdown, I just purchased the large red one yesterday ($1935), with a 40% discount, it is beautiful, will post pics when I can figure out how to compress my files to post.
