All about Silverados!!!

When researching the Chloe Silverado 'S' on the forum i found very little, so here is my contribution!

Black 2007 Chloe Silverado 'S' with black enamel hardware. She has solved all the problems i had with my Brown 2005 Silverado as follows:

1) With my regular Silverado i tended to wear her in the crook of my arm as it was tight and bulky over the shoulder (and i'm only 5 foot 1 inch and 100 pounds!) - this looks great walking down the street, but impractical when looking through clothes rails. The strap on the Silverado is slightly longer and fits on the Shoulder better.

2) The regular Silverado was slightly big and bulky, but the Silverado 'S' is a more manageable size whilst still fitting in everything i need : driving glasses, sunglasses, large wallet, packet of tissues, ipod nano, mints, coin purse containing lipgloss concealer, mascara and perfume minature, mini hairbrush.

3) I once splashed a little bit of water on my brown calfskin Silverado and it stained. The 'S' is made of Buffalo leather, which is very soft and matt and when i got caught in a rain shower the water drops wiped off leaving no marks.

She is wearing what those of you who frequent the Balenciaga forum will recognise as a Rogue Pod made from carpskin leather! Oh yes, this Silverado cost me roughly $875 (roughly £395) from Diabro.

Here's mine. I decided if I passed the NY Bar I was buying a Chloe bag and . . . well, it was originally $1935 at Nordstrom Westchester. Fell in love with it but, jeez, over 2K with tax for a purse? So I left it there.

About a week later the SA called and said it had gone 40% off. That was the end of that and it was on its way to me. I still wasn't 100% sure when I bought it, but once I'd carried it for about an hour, there was no turning back.

I love that it can get a little bit wet and not stain, and that it's a very unusual color. It's also a little strange to me that nobody else here seems to have one of the same color. Anyone? Or is this my little orphan bag?

The color is "ardoise" otherwise known as slate in English.

Out of all of my Chloe's I love my "Raspberry Python" the best, she is light and just the right size for me and she makes me Happy when I carry her. I now want another one.
