its funny the 05 leather is very thick soft and by far the best, the 06 leather is a little smoother and the 07 leather is different again!

Colour wise, I prefer my 07 paddy. But for sheer smooshy touchy-feelyness, it's my 06 paddy. It's so lovely

I have another 06 on the way as I think it's the best leather -but I've never seen an 05 in real life.

I think it's hard to describe until you can see them side-by side in real life. I loved my 07 leather, thought there couldn't be anything better, till I got an 06!

It is really interesting how the vary the leather so much across the different years. Another way to keep us interested I guess!

I have a question about paddingtons. I am thinking about purchasing a bowler on eBay and I was just wondering if the lock goes over the zipper? Like do I have to undo the lock everytime I want to open the purse? How do you ladies do this? Is there a trick to it? TIA!

If it's like the paddington at all (I think it is) there was a discussion thread on how we all like to use our padlocks, you can find it here: Paddy owners- zipped or unzipped?

It's very easy to lock the padlock without locking the bag - I would wait and see if any bowler owners have a different opinion though, I only have experience with the paddington.

I've seen some people call them paddington hobbos, but apparently the hobbo bag looks different. No idea, sorry. Hopefully someone else can help
