My fiance and I are getting married on June 27th (only 112 days away, ahhhhh)! We have most of the major stuff done, we're hoping to order invitations ASAP. I started looking for undergarments for my gown and will be starting fittings soon. We're hoping to book our honeymoon this week.

I'm so ready for it to get here, I'm tired of planning!

Thanks!!!

We are getting married in the clubhouse of the golfcourse. They have an outdoor gazebo, so the ceremony is outdoor and the reception indoor.

October is the so perfect for a wedding :)

^that sounds beautiful!! I love autumn, fall leaves, etc. but I'm having a hard time choosing my colors because I really don't want to use the traditional fall shades (orange, red, brown) I want light pink really, but it's so springy! Maybe I could do pink & chocolate or something, IDK.

Pink & chocolate with maybe a sage green or ivory accent would be lovely and not super spring-y.

Since our wedding is in June we're doing bright colors - watermelon pink as the main color, with accents in orange and chartreuse. Most of our flowers are going to be gerbera daisies, also hydrangeas (green) and roses. I love bright colors!

I'm on the Knot too but the forums just don't do it for me, they are so slow compared to here! I hope one day they will give us a wedding subforum on here, I would love that!

No wedding planner for me! I checked into some local planners that contacted me after a bridal expo I went to, their prices are more than I'd want to pay. One was like $4500 and the other was around $6k They tried to convince me that I will need them for "day of planner" at THE VERY LEAST so that my day runs smoothly- and even that was between $1500-2k!!! So I am just going to figure it all out myself and have my bridesmaids help with any day-of things that would come up. We are paying for everything ourselves so I'm doing everything I can to keep costs down! It is so hard though!
I've been hearing that it's helpful to have a wedding planning when it's a destination wedding, but I'm not really suuure. I mean my wedding is pretty low key. And I can have my Mom help me the day of the wedding. At the last tPF meet one of the gals there said a day of coordinator was helpful and could be found for $300.. Hmm, too good to be true?? I really wish I could find someone to do my wedding for that cheap!!

Anyone here got their photographer already?? We've pretty much picked ours and he's fabulous!!! (Let's hope he doesn't up his prices that much when our wedding rolls around!!) You can see his work at www.renaiphoto.com His name is Eddy Fong and he's so talented, and very nice. He's emailed me all these great vendors that he recommends. He's really fabulous, I'd recommend him to anyone getting married in Hawaii!! He's coming up to the Bay Area at the end of summer and he said he'd do a little photo session for us. I will definately post up photos for you guys when we take em!!
