Default Teenage Time Trois
So I got on my phone today at work, looking for an update on the teen thread. I realized it was closed, and expected someone to have posted a new one and had a couple pages to catch up on when I got home. Very dissapointed someone didn't do this before me. We've been closed for over 7 hours!! Anyway, here is the origonal thread started by pearlisthegurl:

We are the future and I love the idea that we can also be the future of fashion. Lately a couple of young adults have been posting on the wardrobe forum and I thought it would be really interesting to see what kids wear to school and our personal style.

About me:
My name is Mariel and I'm a sophomore at a rich conservative private school. I have a dress code that I must follow every day so that limits what I can wear. I try to dress my best over the weekends and love to collect new and interesting pieces. My favorite brands are Free People, True Religon Jeans, Hudson Jeans, and Lacoste. Im the kind of person who refuses to buy things full priced, partly becuase Ive been raised in a coupon cutting family. My mom and I made a deal that she pays for school clothes and I pay for nonschool clothing. Unfortunaly I feel the need to buy more non school clothing. Im also incredibly curvy for my young age of 15 and find it impossible to find designer school clothes that fit, so I go with comfortable and casual items. I look forward to reading and looking at other teenagers' style choices and looks. Thanks!

Oh, and just to add trois = 3 in french. I know both me and pearl take french, and I wanted to incorperate that language. Considering i just finished my final friday, and I'm stressing wondering what I got on it.

Today I worked, tommorrow I'm studying for finals all day, mon/tues are finals, wed. 2 PM dissmissal, thrusday school, friday 12 PM dissmissal, then my mom and I are going to eat at bennihannas like every last day of school we've been doing for the past couple of years. We only go there once a year, for lunch on the last day of school. And then I work from 5-9 on firday. I probibly could try to get out of it, but I'm new, and I don't want to make a fuss. Plus most of my friends are leaving for vacation. Oh, and I might go to my friend's pool on thrusday. Depending on the weather.

I'm so glad I'm done with school! I always feel like I still have homework (it's a habit lol), but then I realize I don't and I waste the days doing nothing, haha.

Does anyone else have assignments over the summer? I have to read a book for english (only 1 because i'm in acidemic, honors has to read 2) I'll only be a sophmore, so I can't take any AP classes, but the AP people have summer-assignments also.

Yep! I have to finish my spanish class by July (it's online), and I have to finish algebra 2 and geometry by September. I'm homeschooled, so I have school around me everyday, haha.

I agree, I like the hair cut, but ofcouse, the picture doesn't show everything! Maybe you can go back today and have them fix it? I know at the hair salon I work at, you have a week to come back and get your haircut fixed for free.
