What do you girls think about this:

My mom and I were planning a weekend trip to NYC, 4 days, 3 nights. To go shopping, see a show, etc. But my dad offered to just give me about $1000 to go shopping instead of going to new york. What do you think? I'm temped to take it, because I could get a Neverfull, and still have money left over, but I don't know. I really want to go to new york, and I've been being my mom for years. What would you do?

definitely new york. honestly. this is going to sound so cheesy but you only live once, in in my lifetime i plan on getting out and seeing as much of the world as i can. it will be an experience you never forget, vs. just getting more clothes, you know?

there are so many places i want to see, and its only while youre young you really get that change to explore

Why doesn't he want you to go?

Honestly, if I were in the position, I would take the NYC trip. More than anything, it would be a good bonding experience with your mom. IMO, good memories cannot replace any inanimate object. You could always get the Neverfull later, but the trip would not likely to come by as often.

morning girls!

MACsarah- your bangs look fine to me in the pic, and i've gotten a lot of "bad" haircuts...probably more bad ones than good ones because i somehow end up with people cutting my hair how THEY want it instead of what i asked for. one time i had a guy cut my hair and he wasn't paying attention at all and the entire back was crooked. of course i didn't see cuz it's the back, but my mom saw while we were at the salon and she demanded that someone else fix it.

purse- i'd definitely go to NYC. there's really nothing else like it, and you've been waiting for it for a long time. i really don't do anything in NYC but shop and eat- no broadway shows or any of that. i personally just don't care about that stuff.

I debated on whether to start a new thread, but couldnt decide what i should call it. like teenage time 3, or the name its called now or teenage time take 3.

regards nyc, are your parents divorced? as it came across that you spend your birthdays with your mom? Im not sure what i would pick, a $1000 goes a long way but nyc is a trip of a lifetime ( unless youve been before)

Does anyone else have trouble with liquid eyeliner, mines always shaky and my lashes get in the way!?

:o i wanna go to your hair salon! the hair salon i went to is 30mins away with L.A traffic, so i can't be bothered. lol. my friend told me to just try to grow them out like they used to be.

Wait. Are you guys all out of school? Ugh, I still have two weeks, including finals and all that fun.

I'm off to do like ten billion hours of history.

WOW. We had a really old dining room table that we finally decided to let go (b/c we got a new one), and we put it outside about 5 mins ago with "FREE" signs, and someone's loading it away now! It amazes me how quick that was!

MACsarah- yup the entire back! luckily it turned out fine after some lady fixed it, but it ended up being a little shorter than what i planned.

oscarcat- that was quick! my neighbor did the same thing with an entertainment center but it sat outside for a few days.

I'll end up going to new york. I really want to and you girls are right! No, my parents are still together. My dad just doesn't want me to go? I don't know why. I guess he thinks if I didn't go, I would get something back like clothes etc. instead of the experience, but I really want to go to new york.

I've been studying for finals all day but After monday and tuesday, we all just do nothing for the rest of the week of school. I took a break today and got lunch at paneras with my mom, then we went to marshalls. I got a gorgeous pair of ellie tahari heels (they're like oxfords) for $20! I'll post pics later, after finals and such!

Oh, and pearl, I think I saw the desil shoes you got at marshalls a bit ago at mine. I really liked them. They look so much better IRL. If you haven't taken them back, don't!

Good Afternoon Ladies :)

Purse- I would take the trip to NYC..you would have those memories forever, and you could always get the neverfull later on.

MacSarah- Your hair doesn't look bad in the pics, but I'm sorry you are disappointed in how it turned out.

.........................................

A new thread already...we do a lot of talking....How is the weather where everyone is? Its about 78 here, and thankfully its not too humid......

Question- What color shoes would you ladies pair with a Lilac dress? I have this lilac sundress, but I'm not sure what shoes to pair with it.

Outfit
Navy Blue Racerback Tank jumpsuit
Pink Peeptoe Pumps
Pink Python Oversized Clutch
