sigh. i'm having the worst time ever. i'm overdrawn because of shoes and bills and i have to buy train tickets for xmas and i have to buy steve's dad a book and ALL I WANT TO DO IS GET MY LEGS WAXED! i'm so sick of doing it myself :(

Sara, don't feel bad! Although I'd rather buy my father in law a book about religion (he's a member of the clergy) than get my legs waxed....OUCH! I have never waxed anything other than my eyebrows. However, I'd rather get a pedicure!

Gah, I'm a walking contradiction! I was desperate for Liev to take bottles so that I could a) go back to school and b) get a break from breastfeeding. Well, now that he does, I'm sad he's no longer just breastfed :/ I mean I know formula is not poison but I feel like a failure. I feel that I couldn't make my baby happy and content with the breast, the natural way and I have to resort to the second best option.

I know this is silly, especially considering he seems MUCH happier now than before but still. He cries very little now, only when he's hungry, he cried all freaking day before....turns out he was always hungry! So, while I know this is the best thing for all of us, I can't help but feel that I failed him and I miss the closeness breastfeeding brought. We're only doing a couple breastfeeding sessions a day now and we only did one today :(

June I lasted about 3 weeks with my oldest and 1 1/2 weeks with my youngest breastfeeding. You are not a failure!

Yikes! I just read something terrible in another forum I frequent. There is a girl I have eknown (new word!) since the beginning of my pregnancy. Her baby is the same age as Liev, he had pneumonia and was sleeping. They had a movement sensor monitor and the alarm went off because the baby wasn't breathing and they couldn't rouse him. They called 911 and the baby is now in the hospital. Who knows what would have happened if they didn't have the AngelCare monitor!

I would be hysterical! Makes me SO glad I have a movement sensor monitor too.

YAY turns out there was some sort of glitch with my card and i was able to buy train tickets and now i can get my legs waxed and buy a stupid book on knots!

i didn't sleep well last night i was stressing about money and so i overslept and then i couldn't find my keys and AH! i just want to go home!

AngelCare is a brand but the monitor has a movement sensor pad that goes under the crib mattress. You turn it on when you put the baby to sleep in the crib. If the monitor senses no movement for 20 seconds (as in your baby is not breathing type of movement) an alarm goes off. It has helped prevent many infant deaths.

I have the same thing but a different brand with two sensors which cover a larger area.

DAKJHFEWHKWEFHKWEFH. i accidentally booked the wrong train ticket so i had to rebook and i basically spend £60 and i only get a £10 refund. so in reality...i only lose about £10 but it's the PRINCIPLE OF THE THING! STOP PENALISING PEOPLE FOR MAKING MISTAKES TRAIN PEOPLE! IT'S NOT NICE

Ugh it's raining here of all days in California. I'm stuck inside waiting for UPS to deliver my new simples. I'm scared I'll miss them since the package requires signature confirmation, and then I'm worried that the rain will seep into the box and damage the shoes. OR they come and everything is fine, except the shoes are too big
