NEW Christian Louboutin Chat Thread

I started to wonder when I could not find the chat thread this morning. I knew tPF was acting wonky last night then went down. I looked at Vlad's update thread from today 6/1, and found out that due to database problems he had to close and eliminate some threads with alot of posts that had been accessed alot. He also said to feel free to re-open those threads.

So, I guess the message is "we talk alot" and "carry on".

So, I am going ahead and opening a new chat thread.

Call Raoul and start the Lojitos flowing!

Sara, thanks so much for the pics of you and Chins in London! Looks like you had a blast.

Noe, hope you have had a great weekend with your glitter NP's!

i want to go back! i loved the shoes. i can't believe they're offering tortoise vp's in the fall...895!? that's insanity!!!!

I know. I think the tortoise VP's are cute, but not at that price. Luckily, they are not on my must have list. I just saw a pair of CL strappy sandals on NM website for $1215, as far as I can tell they are not exotics and the same or a very similar style is on sale now in the $400 range.

I'm in Vegas and getting ready to go check out the CL store!

This trip has really been a nightmare, but that will make it all better. I did go to LV though and buy a purse so that has already helped. No offense to anyone who likes Vegas, but this is the second time I've been here and just found myself miserable. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the shopping, but everything else is just not for me. So wish me luck that I find some CLs that I want because after this trip I'm going on a serious ban for everything, except for the CLs I've already preordered.

Oh Zophie, I'm sorry you're having a miserable time. I'm not much into gambling so Vegas has never been about that to me. I think a lot depends on the company you are with, my husband and I are giant dork and we make our own fun. I like the cheap drinks, the good shopping and the excellent people watching - it's tackiness at it's best and worst. Also for me it was the first place I saw in a foreign country as a bright eyed 18 year old, so it's sort of nostalgic

I had a friend back in Australia who went to Vegas and he absolutely hated it and he's a big party person. He just couldn't stomach it. I also had a friend who doesn't drink, doesn't gambe and isn't into anything designer or shopping in general and she had a blast (i have no idea what she did LOL).

Well, I do have to say that both times I've been to Vegas have been for work-related events. This particular trip was for a seminar, so I was sitting in a room from 8:00 to 5:30 every day. And the seminar was boring too. Maybe if I came just to have fun I might enjoy it. But the combination of already being exhausted, having to sit in a boring seminar every day, and dealing with hotel issues (we had to change rooms 4 times in 4 days!) it just has been an awful trip. And when you are tired and just want to relax this is not the place. I wanted something to eat last night and just didn't have the energy to go out and find something. So I ordered room service, which was so/so.

Anyway, so I'm off to the CL boutique. Wish me luck!

Hey ladies I am back and SUNBURNED!!!!

Anyhoo had a great weekend I am working like a dog today... I have so many deadlines! What else.... No new shoes on the horizon! I am saving for both pair of the new simples! I have to have them LOL I think for the fall I may get the Kid VP with red tip and the tortoise VP... I can't stomach the price of any others!
