Okay, just popping in to say hi to everyone. I'm just making sure that this isn't the "completely boring thread". Hello...anyone out there?

Miss you all!

Hey all!!! Haven't posted much lately becuase I'm visitng my aunt in Newport- got to go to SCP today for the first time and had a blast There was a small hole in my Chanel cardi so I dropped that off to be fixed (for a total of $90 after tax and shipping ) and scoped out the other stores there.

Looked in at Bally, and I think they could be one of my new fave brands. Beautiful, well-made bags and shoes at reasonable prices- they actually felt like they warranted their pricetags in a way Chanels and LVs just don't. Saw an absolutely drop-dead gorgeous RED guccissima duffle at Gucci for only $1,250, which is a great deal considering the mono LV Keepall w/ strap is about $1.2K Tried on a great Chanel hobo/messenger bag, but it carried the very Chanel-appropriate inflated pricetag of $3,150. I like Chanel, but their prices are just INSANE!!! I might consider it if it goes on sale, but even then it'll be over $2.2k.

Went into Versace with my new tote and a saleslady there said that people had been calling asking for that bag and that it had sold out, which I seriously doubt

I like the bracelet! I've never seen anything like it & I think it's pretty masculine looking. I want a modeling pic if you do get it!

*waves* Hi all to my quiet thread members!

DF separated his shoulder yesterdy. We were at kaanapali and he got tossed while bodysurfing. He still went to work today... (sigh)... I wish he had just stayed home and took it easy.

So much for a relaxing start to the summer!

my gosh SIL... hot! temp is currently 84 on the west side and it's a great beach day.... no beach with the DF for awhile though, until his shoulder heals up.

I think we're either going to go see "You don't mess with the zohan," or "Kung fu panda" tonight... definitley "Incredible hulk this weekend."

I was at whalers village today, but i'm too chicken to go into the LV. I keep telling myself "after the wedding"... "No major purchases till after the wedding...." LOL

Okay guys, I decided against the bracelet I like it but A, I think it's a bit too "fussy" for me, and B I'm trying to save the funds for something I love.

Anyway thought you guys would get a kick out of what I bought at Tiffany SCP. I saw this pair of crystal tumblers in their catalog and wondered what it'd actually be like to go and buy them So I went in and got treated like an important client with a huge pocketbook- they even giftwrapped it!! And to think all this pomp (complete with Tiffany service, turquoise box, and mounds of tissue paper) only set me back $21.

I love the tumblers!!

I want something crystal from Tiffany... i don't know what they call it, but i think of it as a little candy dish bc that's what i wanted to use it as, maybe it is one.... it's shaped like the li'l blue box w/the bow, except it's completely clear, the lid comes off & you can put stuff inside. I was hinting to DF last year that i thought it was cute & that i wanted a candy dish... so he got me a crystal candy dish, but not from T&Co (sigh).

i didn't think about the fact that the box for the crystal would be bigger and still be THE tiffany box!! i wanna go get soemthing now... good thing for me the boutique closed at whalers.. and gas to wailea would be prohibitive... LOL
