disney: i've been saving pics that i've seen on TPF of colors that i like. i'm thinking of going with a more timeless and practical color like black, white, or gris t.

however, every once in a while a off the wall color (for me at least) catches my eye....like raisin.

LLVL: i'm thinking next year....if all goes well

Yay Caley, the Kelly is high on my wish list. There's also different types of leathers. Do you want something more rigid and snooth or floppy and soft. The leathers are so fun. Same as you, I prefer the neutrals best. In a unique way, the Hermes raisin is like a neutral. The color can blend well with what you're wearing. Gris T is gorgeous and another similar color is also etoupe.

I have the evelyne in Gris T that I got to beat the price increase but have decided to save it and give it to my sis as a Christmas gift since there is something else I want even more. I'm just going to have to pay the higher rate and wait for what I want to come in. I'll take pics and post a pic for you.

So I'm still fighting this cold that I have and now, middle is sick. He's got the sniffles and a scratchy throat but still insisted that he's okay and wanted to go to school today. I had to tell him no and that he's going to stay home today. Can you believe that? A kid who still wants to go to school even when he's sick. I wonder how long that will last?

Caley, I give myself till I'm 35 to get one of those pretty babies! Or maybe when I'm 40. Haha! Big dreams huh.

Hope everyone is doing well.

LLVL: I remember that, it only lasts through elementary school, I think. I think the 1st grade and the 4th grade were the only 2 years I had perfect attendance. LOL As far as a Kelly goes, perhaps I will save up and let myself buy one as a push present to myself. I don't think I can ask DH about purse that expensive.

(sigh) So these last 4 weeks have been toooo rollercoaster. DH got a new truck, we got married, school started, I lost my lovie, DH was told he's going to TX for work, and this morning I twisted my ankle because I missed the last step going down the stairs from our apartment this morning.

yuck.

LLVL: yeah i forgot to mention that at this point in time i'm more "all talk and no action." LOL though i think it would be nice for me to get a kelly for my 25th birthday present to myself. a nice milestone number or that's at least my justification in my mind.

JKP: *hugs* hope everything settles down for you and your ankle feels better. it seems that these sorts of things comes in waves.

SIL: Yikes on the twisted ankle. When is B heading up to Texas? Yay, all the more reason to do another road trip. That would make it our 3rd state to visit since moving here (or maybe 4th if we visit Vegas first). The Kelly would be one awesome push present! Maybe that will be my "tie my tubes" present from me to me.

Caley: Milestone presents sound like fun, huh. Has there been anything 'to die for' in the LV world? "All talk and no action"...don't worry, I don't think you're the only one. LOL! I'm right there with ya.

Yuck, yuck! Still sick but I've been home for the past 2 days. Heading to work tonight. Wish me luck that tonight will be nice and dare I say it...quiet.

MB: You'll get your PST...I just know you will!

Caley: When is Zippy's opening up? When I went to Oahu on my trip, I ordered the Zippy pack, a side of chilli, and a piece of cake. I was such a piggy! My eyes were more hungry than my tummy!

No news on DH going to TX yet... but rumblings about happenings on Oahu... he's worried he might get sent back to waikiki to help them for a bit. ugh. but at least i'd be able to visit him there.

Default LV Hawaii Price Increase

Aloha Ladies,
I thought i'd get a quicker answer from one of you. An SA in Hawaii told me that prices are increasing on Aug 19th, however only in the continental US, which Hawaii is not affected. Did any of you hear anything of price increasing in Hawaii? If so when?
I am trying to decide on a speedy between Monogram or Damier Eben. I need to make a quick decision if prices will affect us in Hawaii on August 19th. Thank you all.

hi JJR. spoke to my SA yesterday and she didn't mention anything, though our conversation was mostly about me visiting next weekend. i would suggest calling another boutique just to double check.

on a side note, AM has this weird call sorting thing. SA told me that calls go to a center in SF. i figured something was different when a recording came on talking about conversations may be recorded etc. SA joked that it was like calling a CC company.
