I also kind of like that they scream BRIDAL!! to me (since they are ivory) because that's really what I wanted in a shoe.

I know I was just thinking that! This thread is going to fill up QUICK!

Meggy your photographer sounds just perfect for you! Mine is a boy so I gotta be a bit more specific I think lol.... he seems a quick learner though so it's all good!

Is anyone going to dye their shoes after the big day - in an attempt to wear them again afterwards?

I know...I wanted to go funky, too, but then wimped out and did a MB Sedaraby style. But, I'm glad I did - they were so comfortable the whole day, I never took them off and they never hurt, even after dancing all night.

Mine are a boy & girl team! I'm lucky--they each have similar but distinct visions so I get a nice mixture of photos from them!!

I'm not dying my shoes afterwards--not sure if it's possible and I love them just the way they are

Did you wear the silver ones? White ones?

I have the silver.. I think I'm going to wear them to the rehearsal dinner. I'm not sure how they will go with my dress, though.. I am thinking they may be too formal. This is my dress (it is floor length on me and I am not wearing the halter, instead, tying it into a bow in the center of the top of the dress).

I love the tropical feel because the RD is right near the Gulf of Mexico, and we're in FL, and it's comfy..... etc.

EXCITING!! What shoes are you wearing (even if they aren't CL)?? Where is the wedding (you don't have to get specific or anything)? Tell us!

ahhhh i LOVE this thread!!!!!!!! great idea meggy, so we don't fill up other people's shoe threads with our useless chatter!

leescah - i'm so excited to find out you're getting married 3 days before me!

so i don't have my wedding shoes in possession yet, but hopefully they should be here soon.... unbeknownst to me, DF had already bought them even before he bought the e-ring.... they just haven't been delivered yet cuz of a big surprise.... can't wait for them to get here so i can share with you all!!!

so as some of you may know, i'm having a destination wedding in bali, indonesia.... in a way, it's simpler to plan, since everything is taken care of in one shot - we're having it at a resort (ceremony & reception), so catering, flowers/decorations, hair & make-up, music, accomodations, is all being taken care of. we haven't booked the photographer yet but we know who we want...

ceremony:

reception:

i've decided on an eggplant & gold color theme for the wedding....

the invitations will be these (in eggplant & gold):

bridesmaids dresses (in eggplant):

bridesmaids bouquets:

Where in FL? My inlaws are in Punta Gorda!

I love that dress - so fun and casual and a great contrast to a formal wedding gown. I think the MBs might be too formal, though, personally. Especially with the Crystals on them. Buuuuuut, if you maybe balance them with some chandelier earrings, I bet it would strike a great balance!

I wore the white...
