Morning Ladies!

AWWWW - look at those GORGEOUS dogs!!!! I've never had a dog (always cats) but we're hoping to get one after the house is done.

Thanks for the happy thoughts - we should have news within the hour. Only managed 3 glasses of wine before falling asleep last night - don't feel shabby at all.

Necro - Awww at the story of how you rescued Bodhi. He sounds like such a beautiful dog.

Franks - Debate it all you like, we know you were drinking last night! Wasn't the capslock that was acting up.

Cal - Wishing you luck and sending every positive thought I have to you. Hope all is well with the plans.

Thanks, Frankie. We save a lot of animals lives. We've got 5 cats and a dog at our Sydney home, and 12 cats, 3 dogs and some sheep, goats and horses at the hobby farm...every single one of them rescued and adopted. I've never bought a pet...no need to. I also make it my mission in life to desex as many animals as possible. My new neighbour's cat and two dogs have been desexed recently, courtesy of my husband paying for it. Even a lady on the next street got her two cats fixed because we payed for it (long story, which I'll post about later if anyone's interested). My vet jokes we sent his kids to Uni. All up, there'd have to be around 70 or more animals we've had desexed - around 30 of those are ones we've had desexed over the past 7 years we've been living here. Just doing our little bit (because some people don't).

Hey there, Teen. How are your lips now? They looked great in the last pic you posted.
Bodhi's a terrific dog. He's smart, fun and well trained - I made sure of that, an obedient dog is a happy dog.

I had some dodgy looking bananas, so I'm baking some banana bread at the moment. I can smell it. I'm also cooking a big pot of tomato sauce. I've got so many tomatoes growing, it's not funny, but all I can smell is cake. Mmmmmm, cake.

Mmmmmmm banana cake, one of my favourites!! Necro can you send some my way please?!
My lips are looking and feeling great thanks hun. So natural to the touch that you'd never know they weren't my own. Well technically they are still my own but you know what I mean. I can't wait to show them off at the party tomorrow night. But the result is so subtle I doubt anyone will notice. Especially my partially blind parents!

My poor DH Jase is sick in bed and has been since yesterday lunchtime. He's very rarely like this and if anything is looking after me, so the tables have turned and now I'm playing nurse. Just gave him his tablets and a brekky of eggs on toast. Hopefully he'll keep it down!

Morning all

Necro, how did you party go, did you have a good time? You and your hubby are wonderful for taking in and doing the right thing by all those animals; hearts of gold!

Bummer Teen that your hubby is crook, hopefully he feels better by tomorrow for the party.

Coco, no bags from the sale, major disappointment - I don't really know if they ever really have a large selection anyway - but still, disappointing when you have built up the excitement.

Cal, we are all waiting to hear your news, god if you could see us all - we all look extremely uncomfortable from holding everything crossed.

Caling Robertsn & Sass, we are waiting to hear what you have been up to.

Oh and I thought I would add one more pic of Mr B - he was going through his 'cool' phase....my daughter had him dyed when he was at the groomers, then wouldn't take him for a walk as people would look at him - I did though, I don't embarass easily.

ahhh good morning ladies! been a while since I caught up!

What's this I hear about Frankie having a bit too much bottle? hehe speaking of alcomohol, I can't take too much but I do love my pina coladas!!

All your dogs are soooo gorgeous! I've always wanted pets but couldn't coz my dad was allergic to fur and now I live in an apartment so no pets allowed but if I could have pets, I'd get one labrador, one jack russell, and one sausage dog (I'm not very good with names of breeds so I've forgotten what they're called but they have a very long body and very short legs!)

Necro, we don't have a xmas thing it's public sector bleeeh!

Teen, I looove the first two pairs - the silver mesh and black mesh but I would wear the silver mesh with the purple dress - hope this post isnt too late I wasn't sure when the party was I missed so many pages in this thread haha ooh also can you send me the link to your website again I forgotten it

Coco, that's terrible news from Gucci! I wonder how many of the guccissima leather bags they had originally in store? People must've gone MAD in there yesterday morning btw was it 30% or 40%?

As for me, I didn't go to work yesterday and will be leaving early today around 230 I feel like scat. Suffering from sleep apnoea I laid in bed for the last couple of nights from 10pm, waking up every half hour thinking its 6am argh can't wait til Friday! On an up note, I'm going to this sale this arvo at Alexandria - apparently the items start from $5 up to $20 on aussie designer dresses, jeans and tops! It starts at 4pm today and runs through to Sunday here's the link if anyone's interested http://www.fashionistaevents.com/soe/soe21208krites.htm I'll let you guys know tomorrow how it goes!

Yes his ears are blue as was his tail, thankfully my daughter only had him dyed once...it took forever to grow out, it didn't wash out.
