Exactly right!

Here's my thoughts:

I agree with Rebecca on this, the MAB is prettier in terms of design.

Also here's the rule that Rebecca mentioned in her PM to me. Or not really a rule, but you know what I mean. She explained that if your on the taller side, to definetely go with the MAB. Shorter, then try the MAM. I think she might be using 5'4 as a general guide, but I didn't ask. I"m 5'7 and just assumed, I'd fall under the MAB category, although, I like the MAM just as well. So, I"m getting both.

Rebecca also mentioned in her PM, that she is a "MAB" girl all the way!

I'm 5'6" and thought the MAM looked very wee when I saw it IRL. MAB fits me perfectly. Still, I'll probably end up getting a MAM eventually for when I don't need as much stuff.

I have to say, that I do see where Rebecca was coming from in suggesting the MAB to me. But, I really think everyone could benefit from having both sizes, to be honest.

I think the MAM is perfect for a quick trip to Starbuck's or around town running errands.

And, I love the MAB size for the weekends and/or being out for the day, travel etc...

I don't think I could choose one size over the other. Spoken like a true handbag lover, yes?

ITA...I am not generally in favor of hard and fast fashion rules (no white after Labor Day, no horizontal stripes, etc.) -- and I am just barely 5'4" on a good day but since I figure that I have the 'tude necessary to carry a MAB, even if it's meant for taller women!

In short (no pun intended): me wants.

I totally AGREE with you!

And, I happen to love larger bags on ladies that are 5'4 and under. I think that makes a "fashion statement" in itself and looks cute!

I would never be able to decide between these sizes. I tried and it didn't work very well. I"m happy about that! LOL

thank you for sharing this info w/us bcuz on my wishlist for xmas is an mab luxe...but i do want another mab in a pretty fall color (around xmas time).
it's good to know RM's advice on it-so mainly the luxe was made for convenience, but since more attention is on RM's first creation...i'm thinking nevermind the luxe & just go for another mab when the time comes & just add an elisha strap.

Can't sleep so just got back from picking up some craft supplies at Wal-Mart.
